Yep that should be the approach we take. If his attitude is that bad and he refuses to train or play just keep fining him his wages until he grows up. The only way the deal could be any worse is if we find out we are paying some of his wages whilst on loan.

If it turns out to be true it’s a really crap deal and we should have just said no to Stuttgart until at least tomorrow afternoon to see if we could call their bluff or see if anyone else comes in for him.

Maybe a loan fee & his wages off the books. Its certainly not ideal but maybe he is refusing to play. I'm not saying it is the case but I assume we are psr compliant & he comes back next year when we are hopefully in the prem a better player.  All maybes of course.

The tweet made no mention of a loan fee. There would definitely be one & they are usually seven figures. So factor that into €25m it may not be a bad deal.

 

All hypothetical of course. I can't see a club like this being able or willing to afford that kind of money without Champions League qualification. Even when considering the Woltemade deal.

If the loan fee makes up the difference to the £30mill we expected then it's not bad.  I suppose it'd mean we pay out less in sell on fee as well with the purchase price being lower.
