We had bausor travelling with the first team which meant he’s missing out on games and his development. Can’t have a young keeper as third choice, they need to be playing. This means bausor can get games in with the u21s now and then hopefully a loan in Jan for first team football.

Can't believe people think it's a good idea to only have a 38 year old Begovic and an 18 year old without a single league minute under he's belt.

 

This is the right thing to do, he's cheap and a good age.

 

The fact we don't have a goalkeeping coach say that Begovic roles is 3rd choice/coach and mentor.

Yes it's does, at a time we are cash strapped we got a 2-1, a 3rd choice and a coach. With Begovic being on a one year deal, he could retire in the summer and joining the coach side.

 

The fact we were linked with few keepers during the last month of the window makes you think that was the plan all along.

 

There is definitely someone else pulling the strings behind the scenes this summer.

 

I think the only negative on the restructuring of the GKs is the fact we lost Iversen for free, who should have been sold last summer.
