Will Stolarczyk be back fit for this one? Other than that, I think the team you’ve picked is the only logical starting 11, assuming no injuries over the break.

This.

I thought Middlesbrough would batter us, but it wasn't so.

Absolutely right. There's no difference between Stoke or Norwich or Millwall or anyone else. There isn't a team or player at this level who concerns me. All rubbish.

We only need be scared of ourselves.

I'm all for a bit of self degrading in Leicester now and again. I don't walk past the boarded up shops in Highcross and tell myself I'm at the heart of a prosperous economic utopia.

But I draw the line at some Herbert on here sat in his GEORGE ASDA boxers picking out whatever Championship journeyman that got a 6.7 rating last week and saying he's gonna destroy us.

We need more self respect as a forum.

This one starts a run of 11 games in 45 days through to the New Year! A game every 4 days, and a tough run at that, that will probably make or break our season.

Stoke (H) 22-Nov

Southampton (A) 25-Nov

Sheff Utd (H) 29-Nov

Derby (A) 06-Dec

Bristol C (A) 10-Dec

Ipswich (H) 13-Dec

QPR (A) 20-Dec

Watford (H) 26-Dec

Derby (H) 29-Dec

Sheff Utd (A) 01-Jan

WBA (H) 05-Jan

Very rough estimates of what we’d need:

<10 pts and we’re in trouble

10-13 pts for survival
14-17 pts for midtable

18-22 pts for playoffs

>22 pts for automatic push

We'd need to win at least 9 of them to think about an automatic push. The sides looking to get automatic promotion will be getting 2 points per game. As we're 8 points off 2nd already with a point deduction on the way I think we'll need to be aiming for ~30 points from that lot to think put our selves in the automatic promotion hunt.

Yeah was very rough maths based on automatics needing 2pts per game, playoffs needing 1.5 etc but didn’t factor in any points deduction I must admit!

It's less about the points deduction and more that we're already very far behind.

Worst thing about looking at that is the fact we are going to have to 'utilise' the squad with games being so congested. Which means we will struggle to put a run together.

Crucial part of the season which will shape how our season goes, aim for me would be in play off contention in Jan and we can make a couple of signings.

You're right about autos.... play off wise though there has been teams in 20th in Feb that have either made or just missed out (talking 1 to 2 points) on the play offs.
