We will win this to keep limping along. It’ll be turgid and probably 1-0 or 2-1. Jordan James will score a cracker and then get taken off. One of the wingers will score the other one, ensuring the one who doesn’t score plays terribly. 
 

Afterwards Marti will say some stuff about mentality and togetherness and will remain in a job for a bit longer. 
 

Then we lose the next two games.

Some really awful attitudes in this squad but the way we are now accepting an inevitability about where we are at is not right.

 

The first thing you do is get in a manager that commands respect. That has a philosophy that demands a bit of ****ing hard work and not this bullshit the man child who doesn't understand football wants. 

 

There's not a chance we should be accepting of displays like tonight. If we limp along with a win at the weekend we just prolong the inevitable. Get rid of him and try and save the season. We can't afford this magical rebuild for years. It won't happen.

Good news - in 30+ years on this planet I've never seen us lose the game closest to my Birthday, which is Thursday, and I'm there on Saturday :thumbup:

 

Bad news - I'm claiming the 2-0 win at the non-league game I went to tonight as my Birthday game :ph34r:

As someone said the other day, we may just need to adjust our expectations massively. 
we may have spent 200m on this squad and pay them like mid table prem players, but their real worth is that of a mid end championship team. 
Might make it not so bad emotionally.

Says a lot when I realistically only want to see 2 nailed on in the starting 11, one of which is a geriatric goalkeeper in Begovic and the other is a midfielder that isn't even our player in James (not in the 10 role though)

 

Think he will probably go with below, which will result in the same stagnant play as weeks gone by, just depends on if someone scores a worldie to get us something otherwise another L on the cards and Marti may be on his way. Sheff U have started to play a bit better under Wilder and all 4 of their centre forwards are better than ours, including the one we sold them as at that point he was our 4th choice.

Even after getting rid of a few at the end of this season, we should win League One pretty easily next year then? :P

If #23 and #3 are the CB pairing on Saturday do not attend the game, do not watch it on TV or listen on the radio. 

 

I am embarking on another stint away from this football club for my own sanity, it's sadly the only way.

These are one of the better sides in the league. They did like us choose an absolute imbecile to manage them at the start of the season and Wilder is turning it back, eventually they will climb to the playoffs. We are heading for a bottom half finish under this absolute clown, probably 2 or 3 nil Shef
