I don’t think so. I think the “you” defines the period pre him and the “we” is his time.

 

For example, if he says “we’ve been shit for ages now” he is immediately assessing his own performance as shit which clearly he isn’t going to do and if he did, he would be slaughtered for that.

 

He comes across as an idiot but at least he said what he thinks, I can’t stop laughing.

i do wonder if we'd appointed someone else this summer and not RM...if the there would already be an "out thread" etc

 

im going on the side of there would be, because at this stage...think our fanbase is more of a meme than anything else

We got promoted under Enzo because he was good, we were solid as well as playing passing football. Enzo is a different level to most managers we have had. In terms of attention to detail. 

 

But because we had players like Wilf and KDH, and a slightly younger Vards.

 

I wanted to like Martin, I wanted him to Succeed, but it doesn't look like is going to happen at this point.

I’ve just seen his record since May 2024, staggeringly bad. 
 

3 wins since then in 100 league games. 73 games with Soton, 17 rangers and 10 with us.

Who cares about winning? 

 

We need important stats like how many times the ball was passed and how much energy the players have.

Nobody else we could appoint would have such an abysmal last three seasons.

 

If we appointed A. Managić who’s won what 3 out of their last 29(?) league games and there was no sign of huge improvement, if we course there would be a manager out thread.

 

There was a Cooper out thread before we played a competitive game, this forum is actually pretty good at sniffing out the sacks of shit we have in the dugout quickly.

 

Martin was never wanted, never will be wanted and if by magic he woke up one day and decided to coach winning football

and we turned it around - such is his abrasive arrogance a big section would still be against him.

 

It’s a braindead appointment and the fanbase has responded to it rationally.

"You've been shit for ages" - when we were in the Prem and Championship. Now we're in League One yet since he's took over, we're even worse. Ignore the Fulham U21 game and we've scored 12 goals (how many shots will it have taken to score those?) and conceded 16, so it's not even as if all those piss poor shots he has us taking from poor angles against a parked bus has been effective at outscoring the opponents when we're conceding goals like a sieve.

true but we appointed CR after his awful spell with Greece, 

on Cooper, you could tell from the pre-season how it was going to go, compared to this seasons were i think we looked decent for the most part,


fans wanted a rebuild; they are getting it, fans wanted the youth his playing them...

 

Im by no means a RM in, i always give manager 10 league games, and ill do it with RM. 

think either way, when RM goes good luck to the next manager as theyll need it

right once again? its October 7th come on we arent even in double digits of league games,

 

im not defending him, yeah hes massively under performed but how can we get anywhere and have any sort of stability as a club if we chop and change?

Im looking at it logically, (also id have rather had Dave Challinor in the summer compared to RM)

You’re right with that. I just think your argument falls flat on his face since then. Those results aren’t just bad, they 1 and 2 worst in our history.
