Schooled them during the game, got past their thuggish antics so treat them as subhuman scum in a pathetic tantrum.

Good riddance to Paraguay going. They won't be missed.

I can just imagine what that phone call would have sounded like from Trump to the FIFA president.

GI: Always an honor to hear from  you, Mr President.  I trust our peace prize has an honored place in the oval office.

DT: Johnno, I'm a busy man, so listen closely.  I hear one of our boys got a red light ticket and is in jail or something.   Get that fixed.  It would be a shame if I had to deport all the visiting teams.  Well, maybe not the Norwegians.  Norwegian women are hot.

GI: That might not be popular, Mr President.  But consider it done.

DT: Popularity is for sale.  Especially with what you're making off this thing.  Hey, is there a soccer Mount Rushmore?  There's nobody who has fixed more of these injustices than me, in all of history.  And did you get that Trump Spray Tan I had JD send you?  You still look like a cave rat on TV.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been a stronger response from the other nations at this tournament. It’s a complete and utter disgrace what’s happened with Baloguns suspension and we should be burning America and its weirdo inhabitants to the ground for the sake of the rest of the planet.

When you have the Criminal of the United States, I mean president, gloating about how it was over turned and making it sound like he influenced it and as head of FIFA being so close him and giving him a made up peace prize, then why should anyone believe anything  this prat says.

He needs to go! FIFA is corrupt Blatter went for less, this is in plain site.

https://www.rbfa.be/en/news/update-rbfa-statement-regarding-folarin-balogun

Quote

The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) is astonished by FIFA's decision to declare suspended United States player Folarin Balogun eligible to play in the USA–Belgium match on Monday, 6 July at 5:00 p.m. (Seattle time).

Update 06/07/2026

Following its previous statement, the RBFA wishes to publicly explain the events of the past few hours.

After learning through media reports of FIFA’s decision to lift the automatic suspension of player Balogun, the RBFA sent a letter to FIFA requesting a copy of the decision, an explanation of the process that had been followed, and setting out its position regarding the applicable regulations.

As its only response, FIFA sent a letter to the RBFA stating that it considered this correspondence to constitute an appeal, that a judge had been appointed, and that the RBFA had only a few hours to complete that appeal. No information whatsoever was provided by FIFA.

For an appeal to be admissible, FIFA’s own regulations state that the reasoned decision must first have been communicated to the appellant. While the RBFA was merely seeking legitimate explanations, FIFA itself created an appeal and immediately ensured that it would be declared inadmissible.

All of this occurred while FIFA simultaneously refused to respond to the RBFA’s legitimate requests.

Furthermore, during the match coordination meeting, FIFA deliberately removed the section concerning the automatic suspension of players from its presentation. This topic had nonetheless been part of all such meetings before each of the previous four matches. The RBFA questioned FIFA, both orally and in writing, about the reasons for this change, yet once again received no response.

To be clear, as of this moment, the RBFA has still not received any decision or any explanation from FIFA regarding this matter. It therefore has no alternative but to challenge the player's eligibility for the upcoming match.

Regardless of the sporting outcome of this match, the RBFA is deeply concerned by the course of events and will continue to fight in the coming hours, days and months in defence of the fundamental principles of ethics, fair competition, and the interests of football as a whole.

Amazing isn't it. Trump claims he got the red card stopped like it's a triumph and not blatant cheating and state interference.

Infantino scrambles out a statement basically saying that's not the case in damage limitation when Trump has basically called him a subservient cheat.

And on WC final day he'll smile with his tongue up his arse whilst he let's the president make the ceremony all about him.

I see Trump has thanked FIFA for reversing the red card ban over what he called a "great injustice".

What does Trump know about football? It is a bloody awful decision for football.

There are 4 downs, the ball is brown. Touchdowns are 6 points, fg are 3......

There's a very straightforward question that Infantino's actions, past and present, have made absolutely imperative for him to answer: Is the US President misrepresenting his communication with you and, in doing so, undermining the principles on which any competitive sport has to be founded, and in a way which Fifa would clearly deem deeply offensive and reprehensible; or, is he telling the truth? It really is one or the other.

If it's the former, condemn his claims. If you can't condemn his claims, then it's the latter and you have undermined sporting integrity in football in a way that even Sepp Blatter couldn't manage to.

Absolutely knew Trump wouldn't be able to resist taking credit and publicly admitting he asked to have it overturned.

Would make it hilarious if Belgium go on to win as well after all this. I think the world deserves it after listening to that sh** stain for the last year or so

I don't know if I want Belgium to inflict a record breaking destruction of USA tonight, or I want Balogun to score the winner and create a global corruption scandal that sees Infantino out of his role, and maybe, just maybe some of the idiots who support Trump over here realising just how corrupt the man is.

I'm leaning toward 36-0 Belgium.

I dunno - I think the time for viewing the man and his actions as some kind of quasi-amusing sideshow rather passed a while back, considering their consequences.

Solution is really, really simple imo.

Ref to red card Balugun in first minute, it goes to VAR, ref goes to screen, and then confirms red. Simple. US cheats have to play whole match with 10 men. Whats Trump going to do, sue ref?
