What makes you think he's worth more than £5-6m with a year left on his contract? They could agree a pre transfer for £0m in about 6 months time.

We had no defensive midfielders last season and lots of more experienced defenders we paid serious money for have been worse for us over the past few years. He has all the raw ingredients, it's just we've had a succession of poor teams and managers out there.

 

I'm pretty sure he'll have a great top flight career.

We sell him for £4m with add-ons we will never receive. He has a decent first season. One the Milan clubs sign him for £25m this time next year. We know how it will go.

Oh yeah the Chelsea interest you tried to use as a no bids were made for him it was only rumours argument, then ignored the actual article that said we turned down numerous bids from teams
