Honestly looked like it was waaaay too easy for him tonight

Yeah I get that feeling too. He's obviously much better then L1 and sometimes things can feel too easy  leading him to be careless.

My fave player by a long distance. Not had one of them in a while

I thought he was crap against Peterborough but Saturday he was man of the match by a distance for me.

Last night another superb performance and I love a combative midfield leader.

Too old for a player crush but I think he's mine

Best signing we’ve made in years. Not bringing in someone like this when Ndidi left is a big reason we got relegated last season imo. Lundstram is also surprisingly good on the ball, but for me it’s his willingness to get stuck in and lead by example that we’ve been sorely missing. Despite his age I’m also very confident that if we do get back to the Championship he’ll be just as instrumental in that division as this one.

I just wished we’d signed one or two more players like him. Decent players who are prepared to scrap for the second ball and have that warrior mentality are a throwback to the Pearson era and in lower leagues help build a foundation to build on. Lundstram allows players like Braybrooke and Doyle to thrive.

Don’t be down in the dumps my friend, we signed Cullen and Burns 😜

Us not replacing Ndidi is one of many factors for our dramatic decline, but often glossed over.

Look how important every possession based team has a ball winning DM, I posted (without reply) to someone about Brighton only being as good as they are as have had a conveyor belt of DM’s with Andres looking another solid fine by their recruitment team.

Sorry to bump this, but maybe a rethink ?

Yes. His first home game was awful ... but his recent games have been good.  Last saturday i thought he was a 9.

I know it was v Bromley but agree did remind me slightly of Cambiasso. Loved the way he carried on playing when there was a penalty shout and bundled the ball in. Not the quickest but controls the midfield passes forward and has a few goals in him.

If we signed these two players last season foxestalk would have had an absolute meltdown 😂

I mean, we were in a league above last year and even in League One we've been mostly shit.

I don't disagree that Lundstram in particular is working out right now and certainly brings a steel we needed but I think people would have been pretty justified in being enormously underwhelmed if these had been our signings in the Championship.

Not going to get carried away because he was dogshit against Peterborough.

His knack for getting goals is very welcome though.

The formation we’ve played in the last two games protects him. He can essentially do what he’s good at.

Yeah taking out BDCR and adding in Braybrooke and Doyle is really good for him.
