Mark_w Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 but continue to believe Wellens is a creative genius if you wish Yeah, that's exactly what I think...
AKCJ Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 King Is the most overrated player we have had in recent times. He is an ok chpipnsho player but nothing more. I seriously believe he would improve his game by moving on; he needs a fresh start for his own sake. lol
Guest Col city fan Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 our best form came when Danns & Drinkwater were together, but continue to believe Wellens is a creative genius if you wish This.
Dames Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Wrong end of 30. We can do better. 5/10 signing at best.
Burmesefox Posted 30 July 2012 Posted 30 July 2012 Chpipinsho is short for championship! Well it seems to be on my iPhone predictive text..........

I seriously believe he would improve his game by moving on; he needs a fresh start for his own sake. Agree. King hasn´t progressed, he is too slow, too lightweight and gets knocked off of the ball easy. I wouldn´t like to see him in our starting 11 next season. our best form came when Danns & Drinkwater were together, but continue to believe Wellens is a creative genius if you wish Wellens has made the most assits since signing, so generally he is our most creative player. He is the only midfielder that can hold the ball. He has had one poor season, like other players, but generally been good for us. It´s just that his legs are going now, he isnt getting any younger.

deep blue Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 considering that our play goes through Wellens all the time the amount of assists he has is absolutely terrible I noticed in a few games last season the ball was always played to Wellens for him to direct the attack. This made us too predictable & slow, especially as Wellens took an age to turn sometimes. I hope whatever midfield we have next season we are more flexible and mobile.
dibbdroid Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 By the time Wellens is fit the starting 11 should be established.
hackneyfox Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 By the time Wellens is fit Pearson will be gone and we'll be starting over again.
Babylon Posted 31 July 2012 Posted 31 July 2012 our best form came when Danns & Drinkwater Could you let me know when this form was? I've like to check that out to see if it's actually true.
Happy Fox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19080570 Hull City boss Steve Bruce will not set a deadline on Robert Koren deciding if he wants to stay with the club. Koren, 31, is the subject of interest from Championship rivals Leicester City but Bruce remains hopeful of retaining the Slovenia international. Bruce told BBC Radio Humberside: "We're still talking to his agent and we'll continue to do that. "There's no deadline at all. He's our player and we're all hoping we can strike a deal." He added: "I don't want to let him go. You never want to lose your best players."
Dames Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Please talk to his agent Brucey offer him more money, make him stay. Last thing we need is a player over 30 on high wages on a long term contract that probably will only give us a decent half season before turning crap.

Couldn't disagree more with this Koren is a quality player I'd love to see him in a City shirt As I said before, you want a player who can get Jermaine in on goal? Koren's yer man...

ARM1968 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Feed the Yak and he will score. Oops. Think I got that wrong!'

Koren's yer man... I agree he is a quality player but how long is he going to stay quality? He's 31 very close to 32. I feel that we'd get a good season out of him at a push and I feel that the wages that will be spent could be better used elsewhere.

Normally would agree with you buddy, but in the role Koren plays he could be quality until he is 35 ish . . . . .
Rusko187 Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Are we within a shout of getting him or is there no activity?
kingfox Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Are we within a shout of getting him or is there no activity? I hope Pearson is keeping him as a surprise and our final signing of the summer. If we get him it will be massive, we need Koren and we need him badly. Sign him we will most likely get top six, don't sign him mid table looms.
Raw Dykes Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 Koren would be a good signing, but now we've got a new winger, Marshall might be used as a CAM, which I think looks his strongest position. I hope we sign Koren, but I won't be gutted if we don't.
LCFC FOX Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 no CAM in 4-4-2. I'm guessing against Peterborough it will be: Kasper De Leat Whitbread Morgan Koncheskey Marshall Danns Drinkwater Knockaert Nugent Vardy

I hope we sign Koren, but I won't be gutted if we don't. you make a good point. although we don't know if marshall will have to be moved to the wing if injuries occur or players don't meet the required standard. it definitely wouldn't hurt to have him.
