Kitchandro Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Who linked him to Sousa.... the only link was me saying I can't understand a sodding word either of them say! I'm sure somebody mentioned him earlier in the thread.
Simi Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 I know Bert personally and know for a fact that he would not post anything without good reason and a good source. Countless times I've had information off him that has proved to be correct.
Guest Foxin_mad Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Am I the only one who wouldn't mind Poyet? People are passing judgement on the guy just because of his arrogance in his interview after the play semi and the RUMOURS he's argued over the transfer budget. His teams play mostly attractive and effective football and I for one would be happy with the appointment. People also hate Pearson over rumours he has head-butted/fell out with blah blah with people too, when actually they know nothing about they guy. I do not like Poyet based on the following: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19958174 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21979680 And the fact Holloway pulled a tactical masterclass on him....IAN HOLLOWAY!! Poyet = Pearson!
fazzyfox Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Can someone nip across to the stadium and training ground and see if the badger mobile is present in the car park. White doors, black bonnet and roof, grey boot, not as flash as Beckfords or Danns due to lower income of owner.
indierich06 Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Pearson has been given 18 months which included 2 chances of promotion. Why, just because Pearson has gone, would people give the new manager a hard time straight from the off? If you were willing to give Pearson a third bite at the apple you should do the same for the new manager. Because the managers before Pearson had failed to get us anywhere near the playoffs, so I set playoffs as my expectation and I won't judge a manager without him having a full season in charge. In his first full season back at the club, Pearson has met my expectations. If they sack Pearson now, it's clear that the owners think playoffs isn't good enough, and the new guy will have his full season to beat that. By sacking a manager for making the playoffs, the owners have raised the bar now and anything less than automatic will be a failure. I'm just going by the same criteria as most on here have judged Pearson this season. Unless we're writing this season off as a 'rebuilding period' already?
indierich06 Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Really hope it's not true. You've changed your tune.
Captain... Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 If true at least they've done it quickly, MON anyone?
Roger Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Why does this make me a moron? I bought my season ticket based on the improvement that has been made under Nigel Pearson, it doesn't matter who replaces him (if he has gone), the point is he shouldn't be going! Because you're considering handing your season ticket back because of a rumoured managerial change. I've been studying in another city now for a few years and would kill for the opportunity to get a season ticket. The last time I did, the club had just been relegated to the third tier and was at it's lowest ebb. I, like most people back then, was disillusioned and hardly jumping for joy at Pearson's appointment. As it turned out, it became one of the most enjoyable seasons in our history under a manager who had proved everybody wrong. That's why you're a moron. Because there's nothing to suggest that the same won't happen again apart from a corner of fans who speak like a tabloid headline writer.
Simo86 Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 If true at least they've done it quickly, MON anyone? Only if Robertson is with him
FoxyPalace.com Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Thought he was out of contract, So he cant be sacked, Contract just not renewed
Bayfox Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 As i've mentioned in previous threads i can see pros and cons, but for those saying he has failed twice, Thank fcuk we sacked Little after 2 play-off defeats!!! Oh wait..............
Happy Fox Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Thought he was out of contract, So he cant be sacked, Contract just not renewed He is out of contract at the end of next season not this season.
GeorgeArmston1994 Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Do you think they will accept my Football Manager CV which includes Title winning seasons With Leicester, Roma, Everton and Crystal Palace? I could turn this club around in 2 months easy.
solsolcampbell Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Really hope it's not true. SOMEONE GET THE BUCKET AND MOP I THINK BERTS JUST SHIT HIMSELF
l444ry Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Only if Robertson is with him Would be preferable Simo, but it is O'Neill who is the talented manager. Making Robertson a proviso for a return of the Messiah is like putting the cart before the horse!
Nod.E Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/football-league/24657-leicester-deny-pearson-sacking.php
Libertine Dream Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 Would be preferable Simo, but it is O'Neill who is the talented manager. Making Robertson a proviso for a return of the Messiah is like putting the cart before the horse! But its the same point as Brian Clough couldnt hack it without Peter Taylor
glenny_fox Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 I hope he hasn't gone!! why do we seem to take 1 step forward then about 5 stecks back every season?
Ricey Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 I was torn before, but the more I think about it the more I hope this isn't true. He's pissed me off royally over the last few months, but he's a good manager and he deserves the chance to correct the errors he made last season.
lestajigs Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 See a lot of people have changed there tune on this, some people are just never happy on here
Webbo Posted 17 May 2013 Posted 17 May 2013 http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/football-league/24657-leicester-deny-pearson-sacking.php Tbf that's the site that claimed Newcastle were signing Rooney last week.
