steveherbe Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Only the City... Thats why we love 'em. I'm drained, feel like I played 90 minutes. Not sure I'll make the end of the season, heart wont stand it. CMON LEICESTER
Guest MattP Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 True but if you think about a goal line scramble that gets bundled over the line after a melee of blocked shots and the dubious goals panel look at it and decide on who scored it and it actually crossed the line before the final player whacked it in, they'd give it to the "first" goal. It's just a bit more calculated here as the ball bounced out and was then finished by Wood. I can't ever remember in my life the dubious goals panel going back and giving a goal to someone that wasn't given on the pitch by the referee. If that ball is cleared after Kasper's effort it's no goal, they have to give it to Wood. Certainly sets a new precedent if they do.
ScouseFox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 boss picture that. keeper scores an injury time equaliser and isn't arsed about celebrating, he wants to get back to his goal, kick off and get 2 more points

With it being a novelty goalie I'm hoping they do though
Jacnah Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 need to sort it out for saturday or we will get battered and if we do lose no more than 2 goals or we will be 2nd need to drop nuge bring back lloyd Really??......calm down dear
Monsell1976 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Bad day at the office for all, still didn't get beat, move on to burnley and buck our ideas up.
Stan Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Huge game Saturday, if we lose and QPR beat Blackpool at home (pretty much a given) the pressure will be on! Yes, a bit like us against Yeovil.
DennisNedry Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Am I the only one who still feels really disappointed?Yes it's a point, but it's a scraped draw at Home to Yeovil. And Burnley are only 3 points behind now, I'm worried.
Simonb Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Keeper basically showing the outfield players how you head a ball
One Legged Beaver Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Disgraceful performance tonight. Only Schmeichel, Wes and Knockaert and to some extent Schlupp can hold their heads high after that. Played like we had some god given right to just waltz through Yeovil unchallenged and paid the price for it. Absolutely no movement off the ball and no urgency on it, beaten to just about every second ball and our passing was atrocious. Schmeichel polished a turd big time with that equaliser, well I say Schmeichel, if it's given to Wood then that just about sums up that refs performance because that was as disgraceful as our own. Edit: A credit where it's due to Yeovil, they defended magnificently today and were unfortunate to only get a point to be honest.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Worst performance of the season, which has turned out to be one of the most memorable. I thought it wouldn't be easy, all these people predicted 3-0, 4-0. Yeovil got their tactics spot on, closed us down, won balls in midfield, & frustrated us with the long ball. That for 80 minutes, was just like a performance from the Levein days, it was that bad. The midfield were awful tonight, Drinkwater's passing was terrible, James wasn't in the game, and when he managed to get on the ball, he kept losing it, Mahrez was far too greedy tonight and kept misplacing passes, while the front two were also poor, Vardy's 1 on 1 chance, he even had time to look over at the flag, seriously poor. However we have seen some moments in our time as City fans, but that tonight will definitely be up there, scenes absolute scenes. Whole ground went mad, I was hugging the people next to me, and was about in tears. Never seen anything like that as a City fan. Finally a few pointers, I thought Jeff had a decent game, especially first half, the only player who was looking to unlock things, while De Laet defensively was sensational second half. PHEW THIS!!! I couldn't believe what I was seeing for best part of the game. I thought we swapped shirts with Yeovil. We didnt really use our width. Loads of misplaced passes and passes that wasn't reaching its intended target. It was a really poor performance but at least we got a vital point. We wont win them all and at the minute we aint losing them so bring on the Burnley and lets get behind them. As for the scenes at the end .....WOW!! And as someone mentioned, this is our kick up the arse and we needed it because if this performance was against your Burnleys and your QPRs we would of been slaughtered. COYB!!
foxfanazer Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Really poor tonight against a battling Yeovil side. Delighted with a point in the end and in crazy circumstances. Need something at Burnley now though
orangecity23 Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Absolute carnage when Kasper/Wood scored. Fair play to Yeovil - they got their (big book of Neil Warnock/Sam Allardyce) tactics correct - if you have 4 6ft5+ players on the pitch - hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooofffffffffff. Very difficult to break down 10 men behind the ball, and we had several below par performers. Ref was appalling, did nothing about Yeovil's time wasting, and missed numerous blatant fouls. Gave a ridiculous free kick which then led to the free kick for the goal. Absolute stonewall handball in the box after the equaliser, again, nothing. I see we've got John Moss for the Wigan game as well. FA is setting its stall out, won't be surprised to see Darren Deadman or Gavin Ward before the end of the season as well.
Donut Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Things need shaking up and the players need lifting. There is so much to play for right now and we are right in the crunch time of the season. Im sure that this result will be put to bed and it will be made absolutely clear that more is required against Burnley. And i fully back the players to do that.
xHamzah Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 I thought Yeovil played really well, need to improve massively for the Burnley game
kingfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 boss picture that. keeper scores an injury time equaliser and isn't arsed about celebrating, he wants to get back to his goal, kick off and get 2 more points Matty James looks like we've just conceded
jamfox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 goal boys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgFtAguMyLM THAT IS FU@KING EPIC.
Fox 4 Life Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Yes, a bit like us against Yeovil. The difference is Yeovil can defend, Blackpool cannot to save their lives!
bovril Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Does anyone have a gif or video of the actual goal?!
ScouseFox Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Matty James looks like we've just conceded probably realised kasper now has as many league goals as him this season
Matt Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Wow. Kasper Didn't think we were going to get the draw, was worried. Think we underestimated Yeovil and we perhaps to focused Burnley. We quite poor though, I'm hoping we can use that as a positive though, we've had two poor games now, we need to pull our fingers out against Burnley now. C'mon City!!
deejdeej Posted 25 March 2014 Posted 25 March 2014 Kasper absolutely flew at that! There's got to be some funny gif's involving that ala the sheff weds forum.
