shocking marking by yeovil, as an aside, he's in a fúcking florescent shirt and it looks like they didn't even notice he was there. bullet header though. leapt like a salmon.

If they beat us 3-0 then yes but doubt we would ship in that many!, I wouldn't worry too much, a point would suffice at Burnley anything more would be grand, the big game is Wigan is away.

We're not great at the back. We could easily concede 3-0 if we play same as today

*2-0, don't forget our goal difference would go down one for every goal we lose by as well as theirs going up.

Wouldn't we be ahead due to the fact we have scored more goals?

Kasper outstanding both as keeper and his desire is second to none - as for our midfield - harumph, those orange boots must be made of silk, no tackles and liots of woeful flicked passes. Would have liked Vardy to stay on as he also showed desire but plenty of passengers tonight - James, Drinkwater, Nugent all looked fagged out to me. Still we didn't deserve the point and got it so well done, especially to Kasper and Wood

Having seen the goal on Sky, I'd say 100% it was over the line from Kasper's header

Kaspers attempt is behind the goalkeeper and at least 2ft over the line, maybe a good yard, just ran it over a

Goal area pattern simu.

And how poor was Nugent thought he was totally out the game tonight. Im not saying this for one game alone he was poor at Blackburn and Blackpool. Wouldn't be unhappy if Wood is played over him vs Burnley

After Burnley game,we play 2 games before they, and QPR etc play again!can all look different again ,after Wigan and sheff wed games

Not great quality but it's  not well over and it's certainly not 2ft over the line. It's debatable.

Surely football league can't give it to Kasper if the ref played on?

Exactly what I was thinking.

You can't change a goal to one that wasn't given on the pitch lol

Can take a draw rather than a win over yeovil as a positive. Hypothetically this could give the lads a kick up the backside and give them a bit more motivation to win the game against burnley after a poor display today.

Will this Yeovil fan and his inferiority complex please fvck off?

What a pratt, can't believe they're giving them the time of day

This could be a good result for us, because it will be a well deserved kick up the arse that the team needs.

I am sure that i will be called out for this, but as fantastic as this unbeaten run has been, i am feeling, and seeing a staleness developing in our performances. Over recent games, weve let Burnley steal a march on us and push us for the title.

I do not want to see us coast over the line, i want to see us go all out to win the title. We are moving up to the premier league, and as good as it is to have gone so many games unbeaten, im asking for more. I want the passing to be crisper, i want the finishing to be better, i want everything lifted by 10% again because that is what the premiership will require.

Weve had a wonderful season, weve played absolutely magnificent football at times and to be top of the table is a dream. But we need to finish the job and get the title won. This is almost like a premiership dress rehearsal for me, show more quality at a time when the going gets tough.

I fully expect a backlash from my post, but i am serious. I hope the tone isnt overly critical, i want to be constructive.

True but if you think about a goal line scramble that gets bundled over the line after a melee of blocked shots and the dubious goals panel look at it and decide on who scored it and it actually crossed the line before the final player whacked it in, they'd give it to the "first" goal.

It's just a bit more calculated here as the ball bounced out and was then finished by Wood.

Worst performance of the season, which has turned out to be one of the most memorable.

I thought it wouldn't be easy, all these people predicted 3-0, 4-0. Yeovil got their tactics spot on, closed us down, won balls in midfield, & frustrated us with the long ball. That for 80 minutes, was just like a performance from the Levein days, it was that bad. The midfield were awful tonight, Drinkwater's passing was terrible, James wasn't in the game, and when he managed to get on the ball, he kept losing it, Mahrez was far too greedy tonight and kept misplacing passes, while the front two were also poor, Vardy's 1 on 1 chance, he even had time to look over at the flag, seriously poor.

However we have seen some moments in our time as City fans, but that tonight will definitely be up there, scenes absolute scenes. Whole ground went mad, I was hugging the people next to me, and was about in tears. Never seen anything like that as a City fan.

Finally a few pointers, I thought Jeff had a decent game, especially first half, the only player who was looking to unlock things, while De Laet defensively was sensational second half.

PHEW  :sweating:

PS didn't this happen with Mark Davies and Bruno Berner vs Carlisle I think it was? Sure Davies was never given the goal but he had scored it first.
