Leonardo Ulloa (Brighton) - Bid accepted

Recommended Posts

If you are inferring from my comment that I was trying to say 'He is better than Dzeko' then you understanding really needs to improve.

All i said was a fact, ulloa was causing morgan problems all game, and is only one of two strikers last season who gave him real trouble (Rudy gestede - won every header against big wes at ewood park).

Dzeko had tap-ins from Silva's great play, ulloa ran us absolutely ragged largely on his own.

That lad at Reading (away) dipped all over Morgan too

"Vardy is about to enter the final year of his current contract and several clubs are watching the situation. There were reports at the weekend that Southampton were preparing to make a bid for the 27-year-old.

But City are determined to hang on to Vardy, with the offer of a long-term contract that will make him one of the highest-paid players at the club."

Best part of the article.

I don't care what reports say Pearson would not pay 10M on ulloa. It might rise to that if he makes appearances, sell on fees etc but at the moment he's not kicked a ball for us yet. All of Pearsons signings since coming back from hull none of us would have chosen and they've all been fine. In Pearson we trust!

Especially as it should be broken  ;)

But then it wouldn't be to the tune :(

Nevermind aye, That's my song writing career over anyhow!....

Oh wait....

Anthonyyyyy.... Anthony Knockaert runs down the wing for me...

du du du du du du du du du du!

Just failed his medical

I think you might have missunderstood, Wilson Palasios failed his medical just now! There is no way he has as well?

"... And I'm feeling.... glad Ulloa". Brighton gave this song about him and how he scored three against Palace

Yes but that isn't relevant to us because we don't hate Palace and it works because Glad All Over is Palace's club song.

I feel sick.

Oh don't be such an old fart. Silly money/over-inflated transfer fee's are going to be thrown around a lot more now and we'll certainly not hold back either, else we'll get relegated.

Apparently every other club can do it apart from us though

"Stupid money", "panic buy" - I get tired of these comments all the time. Just because a player doesn't have "Premier League experience" (another term I hate and is not true).

Score about 12 in the premier and you become an £18m player these days.

Jelavic keeps going for £6.5m and his record is 4 goals, 7 goals, 7 goals.

I'd wager the overall package for Ulloa will be less than the one for Jelavic.

well said, personally  I've never rated  Jelavic and have seen nothing to indicate he is an improving player . There are certain clubs that it's not a good idea to spend big doing business with and Everton are  near the top of the list - not many clubs get one over on them . In the overheated market we are experiencing this season he would have gone for closer to £10 mill too
