Guest CityFan 06 Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Good to hear he's making some very good progress. Another good midfield option for us.
David Hankey Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 I doubt Matty will ever be the same player again and when you think how we have upped our game since he last played in the first team I can't see where he will slot in.

That's an opinion I'll trust Claudio to make the final call , cheers I personally think he will come back and improve , he was improving leaps and bounds before injury , he looks to have got a bit stronger physically. Well, we're all entitled to one, thanks.
Ricky Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Saw him out in Manchester on Sunday night, said he'll hopefully be back for the Chelsea game. Nice guy.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 might be back on saturday https://twitter.com/LCFC/status/728204158654877700 That is Good news, hope Matty gets on the benchUp the Foxes
Carl the Llama Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Stick him on a deckchair in the centre circle, give him a pint and play the game around him.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Stick him on a deckchair in the centre circle, give him a pint and play the game around him. Isn't that what Man City did with Yaya last night?
foxy boxing Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 He may go out on loan to get him up to full fitness if he isn't up to speed at the start of the new season
FireFox Posted 5 May 2016 Posted 5 May 2016 Is he part of the 25 man squad?Yes. Has been all season. (Probably so he could play U21 games?)
TheMightySystem Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 Picked up another injury, really hope he can make it back to the first team but it is looks increasingly unlikely.
Guest Lako42 Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 He won't play for us again at this level. Breaks down constantly.
Koke Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 I'll be very surprised if he's still a City player this time next year.
Vindaloo FOX Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 we are talking about going back in for Silva in Jan so if i was James i would be looking to jump ship asap .

Wymsey Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 The sports science/physios must be getting rather fed up now. Hope he won't be using crutches again.
Realist Guy In The Room Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 Even if he did manage to get match fit (which is increasingly unlikely), it's unlikely he'll ever get anywhere near the level he was before. Need to write him off unfortunately.
Spicer Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 Is there any information on how long this injury will keep him out for? I won't completely write him off, but it is becoming increasingly unlikely. I really hope he gets back to his best because he is a good player. Get well soon Matty.
StriderHiryu Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 Poor guy... He's always done a good job for us and played a big part in the great escape before getting injured. I'd send him out on loan if he comes back, even to the championship if need be to pick up fitness and get strong again. I agree that it's unlikely we'll see him play in the first team again but would like us to help him out. Seems like a nice guy that got unlucky.
Fox92 Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 And people laughed at me when I said he was injury prone.

lgfualol Posted 16 September 2016 Posted 16 September 2016 Unlucky, he'll be off to the championship soon. Hope Drinky wont be too upset.
Long Eaton Fox Posted 16 September 2016 Author Posted 16 September 2016 He helped us stay up and go on to this dream. He played his part and should be supported. Come back soon Matty James.
