ajthefox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Good to see him get 90 minutes. Definitely be wise to loan him out for a couple of months or so if possible before he plays in the PL again.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Looks like he's still carrying a bit of weight in the highlights of the 21s game, I'd be surprised if he features on Sunday.
Fox in the Forest Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 Great attitude. A couple more games in the dev team and only then set a target. Always liked his approach to the game since he joined - patient & mature; truly belive he'll eventually be a legend for us (so long as the knee holds up!)
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 James always carries too much weight until he's been playing regularly for a couple of months. Every season he's been with us he hits form around October/November. Best to get him out on loan to The Championship for a month or two and bring him back fully fit.
leicesterseddon Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 I can only judge what I've seen of him, which is 3 appearances for us. He's been shit every time. Hence my conclusion that he's shit. When he puts in a performance that isn't shit, I'll change my mind. But for now, he's shit. I didn't think he was "shit" against Man City. Sure, he was sloppy and a bit off the pace - but he made some good tackles and won the ball in the air quite a bit. More than King ever does when he plays, IMO.
Vlad the Fox Posted 6 January 2016 Posted 6 January 2016 I'm really glad he's close to a comeback as he was such a good player for us. When he's back and fit hopefully people will remember what a good player he is and has been.
Ric Flair Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 He might end up being the first player of our season to score a goal from outside the box He can't half hit them Pardon? He is one of the worst long range finishers of a ball I have ever seen. He is atrocious at shooting. I bet he's skied and scuffed over 50 shots for us in his time.
Stevosevic Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Pardon? He is one of the worst long range finishers of a ball I have ever seen. He is atrocious at shooting. I bet he's skied and scuffed over 50 shots for us in his time. Agreed. I think the only one he's hit well hit the bar at Huddersfield last day of the season. Most of his goals for us have been deflections or scuffed finishes inside of the box
AyewJoking Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Nobody's saying James is suddenly shite or that he won't be good enough. But Kanté and Drinkwater are playing at a pretty high level atm and James has just come back from a career-threatening injury. As long as this form goes on, all other CMs are, correctly, not getting a sniff. However, if Ranners can coax as much out of James as he has out of the likes of Drinky, Mahrez and Vardinho then we might have a very different player on our hands. you sound like a right cúnt
Guest Col city fan Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Good to see he's nearly back. Always liked him.
HighPeakFox Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Agreed. I think the only one he's hit well hit the bar at Huddersfield last day of the season. Most of his goals for us have been deflections or scuffed finishes inside of the box Almost scored a stunner at Villa in the cup last season

I bet he's skied and scuffed over 50 shots for us in his time. have to agree, a really talented player, but shooting is his weakest suit
Stevosevic Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Didn't he hit the bar against QPR? Championship season? Huge deflection
filbertway Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Have we had a decent goal scoring midfielder since Joey? Obviously King has bagged a lot for a midfielder. Struggling to think of another though.
suffolk fox Posted 7 January 2016 Posted 7 January 2016 Oh good can't wait to see him again. I hope he takes the corners cos he is brill at them. Most, never clear the first man. I think a loan out to a decent Championship side maybe beneficial bring him up to speed and regain match sharpness. Better still, Ask Brighton if we can resign Knockeart and let them have him.

egg_fried_rice Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 Completed his second 90 mins in 4 days. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/Leicester-City-NEWS-Matty-James-nears-team-return/story-28485875-detail/story.html I reckon he'll get some minutes against spurs on Sunday. Will be nice to have him back.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 8 January 2016 Posted 8 January 2016 Matty is a tidy player. I'm convined we have 3 of the top 5 box to box midfield players in the league with him, Kante and Drinky. Other two are Yaya and Alli.
BigMicky Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 Matty is a tidy player. I'm convined we have 3 of the top 5 box to box midfield players in the league with him, Kante and Drinky. Other two are Yaya and Alli. Jordan Henderson, Aaron Ramsey, James McCarthy, Mark Noble are all better than James. Yaya isn't a box to box midfielder. This place......

FoxFromCoalville Posted 9 January 2016 Posted 9 January 2016 not looking to start an argument but james looks out of shape if you ask me looking at those pictures on LCFC.com
