I will be honest and say I expected him to get found out at Championship level let alone Premier League level when we got him. Glad he's proved me wrong. Hope he finishes his career with us.

Epitomised the club, and was one of the best players, throughout the great escape - even if it's just as cover I'm glad he's still with us. Huth and Cambiasso next please .

Finnaldo Posted 4 June 2015 Posted 4 June 2015 A good defender at this level complemented by the passion and commitment that makes it easy to see why he captained his country and is such a cult hero at Anderlecht- fantastic news to have him for at least another year, reckon it might be two years though (total guess)
