The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Best manager since MON and future England manager I predict. Glad I've not renewed now in all honesty. Thanks for everything
DB11 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I don't think he'd fit the mould of an England manager but he's certainly done a hell of a lot for the club. Can't believe he's gone
Babylon Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Absolutely gutted, he could be a dick head... but he was our dick head. He's made me proud to support this club both times he's been here.
Jon the Hat Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Thanks for putting the heart back into the club, and putting us back where we belong. Good luck for the future.
Tielemans63 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 He's a club legend - no question. His contribution to this club has been phenomenal. Just gutted. Absolutely gutted.
ScouseFox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 legend. hero. wish he was my dad (no offence to my actual dad he's pretty cool too)
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 After everything that we came through.... Such a shame.
ozvaldo Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I cannot believe this. Yes he's had his moments - all great managers have. But the amount of good he's done for this club is immense. Really really bad timing by the owners. Gutted about this.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Best manager since O'Neill with potential to have gone on to greater things. Will be hard to replace
Vacamion Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Rescued us from the pit and got us up. Will always be welcomed back.
Mark_w Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Unless something Malky Mackay-esque has happened (and I HIGHLY doubt that), I'm certain he'll end up elsewhere and make them look very silly. Absolutely devastated, thanks for everything Nigel Pearson.
inckley fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Absolutely gutted, he could be a dick head... but he was our dick head. He's made me proud to support this club both times he's been here. Couldn't have summed it up better. This is devastating stuff.
matty98 Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 99% sure he'll be back in the prem before long, don't think any of us are really in a position to comment on who's 'fault' it is, if anyones
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Love the guy. Seeing him elsewhere is gonna be heartbreaking. Legend for me
The Year Of The Fox Posted 30 June 2015 Author Posted 30 June 2015 99% sure he'll be back in the prem before long, don't think any of us are really in a position to comment on who's 'fault' it is, if anyones I lay it squarely on James Pearson
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Well, this came out of nowhere. Guy may have been a bit weird, but he was a great manager for us - this change is going to need to be a sensible one if we don't want to go backwards...
Leicesterpool Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I'm just stunned, this must be the biggest shock the club has had. As I mentioned in another thread, I wasn't his biggest fan but he has left behind some good memories. I'm surprised though he'd back sacked shortly after doing a good job in keeping the foxes up.
EnderbyFox Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Thanks for the memories Nige, best Haircut/Trainers I've every seen
MrsJohnMurphy Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 There going to be some very nervous managers in the Championship looking over their shoulders, I predict someone will get sacked to give Nige the job.
Carl the Llama Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 It's like a member of the family has died. Regardless of his off-pitch 'antics', he was always a great manager for our club. 99.999% of fans will be eternally grateful for the exciting times we've had under Pearson. Won't be at all surprised to see him gracing the PL again.
Lovejoy Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 I've had a season ticket for the last 10 seasons and this has left me gutted. For years I never really felt a great affinity with the staff/players but this team is different. The last two seasons have been great for different reasons, I only hope his replacement can replicate the spirit we need to stand a chance of staying in the league. Cheers Nige and the team, you've done Leicester fans proud .
Jaspa Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 Always backed him. Seemed a stubborn bastard but proved to be the opposite, always striving to learn and improve. He's left us with a good squad and hopefully with harmony intact, respect and good luck to Nigel
