Mo Sylla and Elvis Hammond. Made a lasting impression on the club...maybe not.

Alexander Tunchev. Good defender, shame about the injuries

Surely these players are more unforgettable on the basis they were so bad, almost notoriously so?

It doesn't really count but I keep trying to forget Kram played for us as we go into the new transfer window looking for a quality, young, experienced striker.

Anyone remember Mark Davies (loan player??). Only saw him a couple of times and he seemed to dominate midfield. Some player. Really arrogant, though. Said he was too good for Leicester - so he joined a 'bigger' club - Bolton !!  :D:D:D

Wonder if he's still playing?

Just been going through the FT history section of Nige's first term signings and his name popped up. Way too classy a player for the League 1 level we were at and was fighting back from an injury. He did alright for a while at Bolton wnen they were in the Premier League, he earned another contract and then did his knee again in 2013; never played again, retired last year; poor lad was a talent

He played in that 4-2 League Cup defeat at home to Burton and he was ****ing abysmal, came with a good reputation but he was muck for us.

Was that bad was beyond belief he became a professional footballer

We are in Southend for the weekend and the  Blackpool team are staying in our hotel complete with star striker Jo Dodoo.  I had completely forgotten that he scored a hat trick for us not so long ago :)

Seems to be doing well in L1 now

Ricardo... twice knocked England out on a penalty shootout for Portugal. Came to Leicester and he was awful.

Also Yakubu in the picture, who was alright on his loan spell. Certainly knocked in a few, but can remember he had an habit of disappearing in some games.

Yeah two very obscure players there

Don't think he was even the worst player in that game. Seem to remember Neil Danns (another candidate for this thread) putting in a peak "couldn't give a shit" performance.

Are people's memories really that bad? Or has this just morphed into "name former players who used to play for us" now?

.....that were rubbish.

There's very few I don't remember as most were so bad compared to the distant past and the present squads it made them hard to forget.

Ah, you mean Lee Danns?   #AlanYoung

Tommy English & Roger Davis (a couple for the millennials there). Not forgetting Norman Leet who, if memory serves, worked in a shoe shop on Gallowtree Gate. Think he 'played' one game.
