UPinCarolina Posted 1 November 2016 Posted 1 November 2016 Oi, Ozil! Superb goal TBF, but Arsenal are a bunch of baby-soft pansies.
Koke Posted 1 November 2016 Posted 1 November 2016 Manchester City were exceptional. I'm glad they turned Barcelona over.
Legend_in_blue Posted 1 November 2016 Posted 1 November 2016 Barcelona do not look as invincible as I thought they would. Just goes to show, get in their faces and run down everything, they will leave spaces, get frustrated and you can turn them over. They play too high as well - should we meet them in the knockout stages, we need to run down every ball. It's possible to cause an upset.

Man City made Barcelona look average;they didn't manage one shot on target in the second half. Apart from a 15/20 minute spell (before City scored their first and well deserved goal and Barca actually looked decent), they were dominant. Barca were lacking all over the park, especially defensively. Every time Man CIty won the ball and went forward they looked like they could've scored. It could've been a rugby score. I genuinely forgot Suarez was even playing.

Lesson one: NEVER DO THE OLÉS, because Hubris is a cruel mistress who DOES NOT LIKE IT WHEN YOU DO THE OLÉS. 2-0 up in the first half against Southampton on the opening day of the 2003/04 season, and never again.
AjcW Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Update on current second place teams we could face... makes for painful reading PSG Bayern Munich Benfica Dortmund Sevilla

foxy boxing Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 great goal from Ozil, I don't why the goalkeeper was trying to save the shot with his hands outside the area because he would have been sent off but a great move. really good performance from man city and great free kick from de bruyne.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Not to jinx it, but I definitely think with the way Sevilla play they'll be our best bet for counter attacking
RowlattsFox Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 So jealous of everyone who has gone on these European aways so I'm going to do everything I can to go wherever we go in the knockouts, whether that be champions league or Europa. Most definitely without a ticket.
rmahrez Posted 2 November 2016 Posted 2 November 2016 Legia Warszaw come back from 2-0 down against Real to lead 3-2...

tom27111 Posted 22 November 2016 Posted 22 November 2016 Bye Spurs. Thanks for ruining the coefficient, that was our job. Don't bang your vagina on the way out.
