You'd happily applaud someone who pledged himself to us only then to **** off for more cash...**** him.....hope his Arsenal experience is worth it.

People are very quick to judge sometimes, but when you consider;

*He's been at the club 4 years

*The euphoria of the monumental achievement he's just been part of has settled down considerably

*Understandably, that achievement feels like a one-off - remember Claudio was saying just that through out, it's like a dream

*There's already an air of doubt around whether the team will stay together

*The taste of success drives you onto want more - and there's no doubting his new found inner belief and will to test himself at the highest level.

*The rational side of your brain would say that success is more likely with a club like Arsenal (ignore the obvious bottle factor for this point please)

*Being wanted is very flattering

*He's currently in a very different environment, away from the club

*The comparative stature of Arsenal

It's not too difficult to understand why his head might be turned.

Yes, money might be a factor too, but had this been say West Ham offering him this more money - maybe he wouldn't have been as interested.

It sucks, I'm disappointed, I'm hopeful that Claudio will give him a "Dilly Ding, Dilly Dong call - wake up we're Champions League man!" that will make him change his mind...

...but I couldn't be mad at him if he decided to leave, for all of the rational reasons above (I know many fans don't like those at times of instant emotion) and above all else - he was part of the greatest Leicester side and overall footballing story we are ever likely to see in our lifetime.

All of us in our heart of hearts knew this side wouldn't stick around forever... true, we were hoping we might get an extra season if we were lucky, but the important thing is the philosophy and fabric of the club remains - for when one hero leaves, it gives an opportunity for a new hero to emerge.

I hope Walsh has someone lined up to replace him. Here's hoping Vardy returns to playing like he did in his first season with us.

Vardy will be warming the bench by October.

Facts are

Arsenal have opend up the relaease clause by making a bid

Ranieri knows and has admitted it

Leicester were looking for other attacking options prior to this

That is it , the rest is pure speculation, just because Vardy has said nothing as yet, nor anyone else dosnt mean its a done deal.

It will be sad and a blow if he leaves, but I know our owners will negotiate with his agent also

We will survive, think positive, show respect, stop blaming his Wife, Roy Hodgson, Jack Wilshere etc. - its life, Arsenal are

a bigger club, and this is sort of thing is always going to happen, as it will for Mahrez & Kante . Leicester will fight for him, its a question of money

because the player is happy at Leicester

Vardy has been a loyal servant of this club, and is 29 being offered more money in the region of 40k a week

If he goes good luck and thank you , We are Leicester City, the Champions of England and nothing will ever take that away

So what, that happens. Who knows what's around the corner. I suppose if Munich or Madrid bid he shouldn't leave because he said he'd stay? Ok then. As for "Arsenal of all teams" - they aren't our rivals. Yeah I disliked them when I went Arsenal away and they were being pricks but overall they are a very well run club.

Well run lol - they're a shambles from top to bottom compared to the other top end sides; more bothered about saving money than winning anything, transfer policy of never buying what they need, training set up designed to injure their players and an awful treatment regime.

You're a tool for calling a club legend a 'cvnt'.

If he walks out he's not a club legend

Up there with Dennis Wise for me. Hope he ****s his whole career up now.

lol nice try. Still a legend in my eyes but I'll be disappointed in him if he goes. I don't think It'll work out for him if im honest

He's not irreplaceable.

Yes, he's a good player and improved dramatically but let's be honest here, taking your blue tinted glasses off, £20m a solid amount of money. I'd like more but with that you could buy Slimani, Deeney, Musa, Milik, Janssen, Barbosa etc

I think Kelechi Iheanacho would be a decent replacement.

Of course he isnt going to go public until anything is certain, leave that to his raggy wife.

Makes sense now about musa however i was optimistic that sigining players like him were there to complement vardy not replace him.

Is anyone else concerned about our ability to attract players going forward after losing our star striker so easily?

If Mahrez and Kante go it will be very tough to convince players we are still going places unfortunately.

Jesus wept, our fan base is a disgrace.

Why ?

How can he be called a club legend after one good season and leaves at the 1st opportunity

At least we'll all be able to get tickets again when we're back in League 1 with Russell Slade as manager

£20 million is pretty good for someone who we paid £1 million for.

We can get someone younger and better. Vardy will be on the bench watching CL football rather than playing it.

We will do what won us the title, sign players that others have missed and go from there

He'll play games for them. He's improved dramatically whilst at Leicester. My concern with joining Arsenal would be the terrible injury record.

Jamie Vardy has been my favorite player ever since he joined the club & I will always respect & admire him whatever he decides to do. He has given us 100% every game and at 29 almost 30 years of age he needs to do what is best for him & his family. Not too sure anyone here would turn down an extra 50g a week. Slagging him & his wife on social media will certainly not make him want to stay.

Cmon boys he has gone and thats that, trust CR and the backroom staff. If they didnt have a plan for this in place I'd be amazed.
