whoareyaaa Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Can't believe some of the anti England comments on here. Only in this country would people actively want their county to fail because the national team manager didn't pick one of their players. Christ. I'm not supporting a clown, he don't even know his formation, he's got players in the squad that have been injured for the majority of the season and has dropped Danny drinkwater, the midfield is full of bang average players bar Ali and Dier, the defense is a shambles and no doubt Vardy will be benched.
sylofox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Only watching games Vardy starts. I have no interest in the usual loaded squad. If we can't take the best players in a given position I can not be arsed to watch. Fvck off Woy you sad flabby faced twat.
Wymsey Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Have a feeling he's been left out as Hodgson will want to play a fixed formation, a type that might not be appropriate for Drinkwater's main attributes. Still, style of play is as bland as Man Utd's.

Only in this country would people actively want their county to fail because the national team manager didn't pick one of their players. Christ. People are getting fed up with the same old bollock$ every bloody tournament. Walk the qualifying campaign against posties, builders plumbers. Then go into a tournament with half fit players, players who don't deserve to go, players being picked because of who they play for.
ScouseFox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 I'm pretty sure nearly everyone on here has made the point it's not just about Danny. And used some good examples such as Germany and Spain and France.... France Taking and building their squad around in form Kante and Payet. Spain dropping 5 "key" players because of poor form. Of course I'm annoyed Danny isn't there, but id accept it more if one of Wilshere or Barkley was chopped with him. spain aren't taking torres and he's been the best spanish striker in 2016. france aren't taking gameiro and he's been one of the best strikers in europe for the last few years. they're also not building anything around kante except a subs bench, let's be honest. they're all doing it better than us, but that's because they've all got better players than us.
whoareyaaa Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 He's going on like Jack Wilshere is Messi. ****ing shocking, good luck to Vardy but **** England. Rant over.
Koke Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Wake up and stop being so deliberately anal. Its far more than DD not being picked, this is about the England manager repeatedly picking injured, unfit and out of form players to fit his boring system as opposed to picking deserving players. Would Rashford be going if he played for Villa? Would he ****. You still support your country mate. Even if Hodgson picked Lee Cattermole and recalled Peter Crouch I'd still support them and not wish England to fail. Bizarre mindset.
J.Lisemore Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 I'm not supporting a clown, he don't even know his formation, he's got players in the squad that have been injured for the majority of the season and has dropped Danny drinkwater, the midfield is full of bang average players bar Ali and Dier, the defense is a shambles and no doubt Vardy will be benched. Think your forgetting our new midfield maestro Rooney. You know, the guy who isn't very good upfront anymore.
AjcW Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Our lineup against Germany when we actually played well.... No Rooney NO Wilshere NO Sturridge NO Sterling Butland (Forster) Clyne Cahill Smalling Rose Dier Henderson Lallana Ali Welbeck (Vardy) Kane That second half was the first time I've enjoyed England in years. A real indicator to Roy of what could be if he took risks.. But nope...

I did mean to add I'm in no way not going to support them, that would be stupid. It's just frustrating. We don't take risks. And like I said I'm not necceserily basing this on Drinkwater missing out. Wasn't aware of Gameiros form so excuse that oversight, I do genuinely believe they'll play Payet and Kante though. I might be wrong who knows.

Larry_LCFC Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 You still support your country mate. Even if Hodgson picked Lee Cattermole and recalled Peter Crouch I'd still support them and not wish England to fail. Bizarre mindset. Why? So we can get to the quarters (if we're lucky) and then flop again as we always do. The FA count it as a success and round we go again. No, **** it. With this clown in charge, we will never win anything. The sooner he goes the better.
Neil_LCFC Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 England should have built there team around Kane,Vardy,Alli and Drinkwater the 4 stand out English players this season, Instead they have done the usual picked the usual tried and tested failures who are out of form, unfit and picked on past reputation that isn't deserved as they are serial losers.
Meltonfossefox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Think people need to remember that getting p1ssed off with the same old crap from an England manager that doesn't learn and losing interest isn't turning your back or "anti England" Yes it's our country but let's not forget DD was an ever present EPL champion, this isn't biased campaigning to get Guppy or Nugent a game ..... Yep everybody will watch but this was supposed to be the next chapter for at least 2 players that bloody earned that seat on the plane not.....Wiltshire, Barkley, lallana, to name 3 (only 1 of which made the top 4) Also the argument isn't that France, Germany or Spain have better players, it's more like they take and play the best
Soar Fox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 I'll be supporting Wales, yes I will be going shopping at 8pm on a Saturday night whilst everyone is watching England lose and no I won't be walking round Lidl with my face painted.
Donut Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Our lineup against Germany when we actually played well.... Manwell Pablo Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/england/11981640/England-manager-Roy-Hodgson-wont-risk-taking-injured-players-to-Euro-2016.html Rightio Woy! They are all "fit" bar maybe sturridge who he clearly thinks is gonna be fine for Thursday. Wilshire may not of played much but he is clearly recovered and fine to play (for now) and is the best midfielder in the country. if I had issue with anyone it'd be Henderson or Barkley, both hardly stood out in what are mid table teams. Henderson especially as I've never quite understood what he's ever done to be quite so much of an automatic pick. England (sadly) aren't Leicester, I'm not convinced Drinkwater fits the way they are going to play. I'm fine with it, he ain't gonna get injured, he's not gonna be in the shop window. He was never going to start anyway, let's move on and see what the team actually delivers. Prolly disappointment on a rather massive scale as always but doubt drinkwaters inclusion would of effected that in the slightest.
ealingfox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 I happen to own a Russia shirt and I will proudly be wearing it in Marseille with me LCFC Champions flag tied round me like a cape. Might write #JeSuisDrinky on it too.

Would Rashford be going if he played for Villa? Would he ****. Well said that man. Nothing learnt from Sven taking a 12 year old Walcott and Capello taking an unfit Rooney. Unfortunately England will go out early, with a wimper.
Detroit Blues Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 From an outside point of view, I always feel like England has squad with elite talent, but massively underachieve with it. There are endemic problems with the philosophy of England's national team, and i think it goes beyond Hodgeson.
wokinghamfox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 This will be the end of Roy. Why oh why does he stick with the same old failures. Wilshire 90 mins of football this season and 3 ton of splifs joke fecking joke!!!
1972 Fox Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 4-4-3? We might actually win with that. Even with 12 players we would be QF's at best.
Guest Col city fan Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 Just wait until Rashford starts over Vardy.Wouldn't surprise me one little bit.I made the point about a week ago that Woy just doesn't rate City or our players. Despite winning the league actually at a canter. The video footage of his daft face over the season when Vardy has scored goals HAS been quite conclusive. He's not been overjoyed. Quite the contrary, his look is that of a man who looks pissed off because Vardy's form has almost forced him to include him. I think Vardy will possibly start the first game BUT if he 'under performs' Hodgson will drop him as soon as he possibly can. Call me paranoid but I firmly believe this.
HankMarvin Posted 31 May 2016 Posted 31 May 2016 We need to be careful, this topic title name could become so popular that it will surpass the Ethiopian charity's on google search
