Completely agree with Henderson, Barkley and Sterling although I think Lallana deserves a place However Milner should never be on the plane ahead of Drinkwater. Choosing sterling over Townsend is baffling. He's purely made that decision on which team each player plays for rather than form.

If Drinkwater played for Liverpool he would be guaranteed a place. If Wilshere played for Leicester and had played 1 game all season do you think he would have been picked? And people wonder why England fail at tournaments. If England fail at this tournament it won't be because Drinkwater was left out. He wouldn't have played anyway. Had Roy left out Vardy then the uproar would have been more understandable. I agree if he played for Liverpool and Henderson played for us the reverse would have happened.

Last game played out of position-as soon as he was moved into position, he was dominant. Also-what about those picked in his stead? Matchstick man Wilshere, nowhere man Henderson, 5 minute man Barkley. They're not good enough, certainly not better than DD. I can, and do, blame Woy.

Players like Wilshere will have sponsorship deals so the sponsors want these players playing in tournaments. It's the only reason I can think he's been picked as aside from the fact he's only played one game all season and he's always injures, he's just not very good! He's not developed at all in the past few years and I don't believe he is anywhere near as good as Drinky at the moment. Absolutely baffling!

That fvckin joke of a manager has left out a player who has consistently been half of the best midfield in the prem and gives 100% all match and is carrying no injuries. If Dier gets hurt or has to replace a crocked CH he can easily fit into his role and gives this leaky team some much needed defensive support ... oh and he has an understanding with THE best counter attacking forward in the league so that when we need a goal to keep us in the tournament he potentially could do it. An absolute disgrace and sadly why we will never win things ... WOY OUT !!!

The way Hodgson set's England up, there is no place for Jamie in his starting eleven. Sad but true, no surprise today, Hodgson and the FA will fail again at another tournament, NOT because they didn't select Drinkwater or because Vardy probably won't start, but because they will try and emulate a style of football that is NOT English. An English manager with the balls to play it OUR way, got to be worth a try.
