fantastic save at the end and that is what you ask of your goalkeeper they can have a quiet game with not much to do but when called upon can make a world class save that gets your team maximum points. well done kasper one of the worlds best

Big difference between talking in front of your mates and talking in front of a tv camera.

 

Morgan doesn't get the praise he deserves as captain. There'll be a statue of him holding that trophy in front of the KP one day.

Why does everyone act like Wes is a shit captain when nobody except the players and staff have a clue what he's like in and around the dressing room

Yes he seems (more) quiet on the pitch but he does speak and has led by example with his performances over the duration he's been here (I'm not talking about this seasons monstrosities)

Schmeichel might shout and bawl at the lads but Wes might offer more constructive communication, and like someone above has said speaking in front of the media and your team are completely different. Wes has been colossal over the last few years and deserves a bit more respect. What good would it do taking the captaincy from him and giving it to Kasper

Big Nige wouldn't have given the captaincy to Wes if he wasn't completely deserving of it. He keeps it until he leaves, 100%. Kasper should be next in line though...

Different types of captains. Some lead by example like Gerrard. Most teams have a few players who are strong characters and talk/shout a lot.

I fear we could lose him in the summer. Can definitely see Liverpool coming in for him. He's undoubtedly an upgrade on what they already have.

 

He's totally won me over this season. Brilliant keeper.

strange - KS never struck me as being particularly comfortable as a sweeper keeper type. kasper doesn't play so well with the ball at his feet. Good at quick distribution and kicking distance but playing around his box with defenders ? We don't see much evidence the way we play but when we tried to build years ago, he wasn't chilled in posession. Klopp  clearly wants a keeper in that mould. Same with citeh. Can't see him going to either of these.
