he has had more to offer for the last few years. he has great pace but not much else. is he a goal scoring threat? not really? is he good at crossing the ball like Albrighton? i wouldn't say so, is he a good left back defender? errrr. i struggle to think of something that he is really good at. if someone knows what Schlupp is good at please comment

Errrr running fast......you've just said it yourself lol

Here's what one WBA fan thinks to him. After seeing him on youtube

It just crossed my mind that Schlupp can play left-back, on the wing, or as a central striker, which is where he started his career - videos on YouTube suggest he's tall, powerful, and can score with both feet and head, so even if he plays left back, imagine the extra threat we'd have from set-pieces...

What, could not of put it better myself. It's like this blokes been watching Jeffrey his entire career.

15 Million about right for such a player, It'll be a shame to see him go but wow WBA what a (totally non refundable) player you have on your hands now!

If this is true great news.  I will willingly drive him to Birmingham myself.  If this is Jeffs agent trying to play hardball in order he can get more game time, then it's going to totally backfire.  15 million for Jeff snap their bloody hands off.

As Chris Kamara would say, "unbelievable Jeff"

I would snatch your arm off for a pint and pie if you would be serious about signing him.

Always back up our players, but in Jeff's case, he has as much football brains as my granny, a total waste of space on the pitch.

Farewell lad, wish you all the best in your future journey.

Cheers Jeff but we cannot wait for ever for you to catch up with the promise you have undoubtedly shown over the years.

I'd rather we got him out on loan to a club where he'll play as an attacker/winger week in week out and then review his progress in the summer

I was quite happy when he stayed on but have been really disappointed in his demeanor on the pitch. He hasnt looked to want to impress to keep his place and despite CR putting him ahead of the likes of Gray, he hasnt taken his chance. He had one half decent game and thats it. Because of that Im not bothered if we punt him out. I really want him out of the way so Gray and Kapustka get more chances now.

quite amazingly he literally can't do any of those things. scenes.

also being 100% serious i can't ever remember him scoring a header? has he ever even been in the box from a set piece?

Does he have to walk the rest of the way? lol

He's certainly played like he doesn't want to be here this season. Can't understand why he's so desperate to move (cough cough money) but he clearly isn't the same player or happy at the minute

Think he got one against Birmingham at home in about 2012/13. Usually on the half way following a set piece though

Massive shame it hasn't worked out here after showing potential in the past few seasons, but unfortunately time to move on for the club and the player. Think he'll do really well at west Brom!

He's on his way, he's on his way

to the Albion, he's on his way

how will he get there he don't know

probably via lazio

all we know is Jefferys on his way

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri says he will not stop Jeffrey Schlupp from quitting his side in January if he is unhappy.

The 23-year-old is struggling to get a place in the first team of the English Premier champions this season.

West Brom have shown interest in the Ghana international to land him in the next transfer window.

“Always I say to my players it is important to stay together but if they don’t feel good because they want more it is important to speak and look what is the best for the club, the team and themselves.” the Italian gaffer said in an interview.

"And I understand them."

He added: “I understand it is not possible to retain one or two players only because there is the Africa Nations Cup.”

I'd rather want to see him move to a club like RB Leipzig in Germany (permanent or on loan), they have it all set up for a player like him and he'd thrive massively under their youth policy.

They're also actively chasing after young PL talent:
