Jeff sadly has one of the lowest footballing IQ's possible. Great athlete, but even he doesn't know what he's going to do next on the pitch. His times up, good servant. Over to you Pulis.

think Joachim has him beaten there..

Remember reading that Little had to take him down to the train station to make sure he got on the right train

Let him go. They probs need a midfielder with incredible speed, the skills to make the opposite defence wonder and the shooting skills to make the fans worry about the cars in the parking lot

You're right, I forgot about that! Reading Joachims Twitter requests for players is a constant source of amusement these days!

I had the luxury of meeting Joachim back in the day, the conversation was a struggle that's for sure! Thankfully the legend Iwan Roberts was closeby, spent the rest of the evening chatting with him and he plied me with drinks all night (18th Birthday!). Top guy.

We turned down roughly the same amount WBA paid for Nacer Chadli. Unforgivable.

People are nice about him because he's a youth product but the reality is he's a shocking footballer with a low footballing IQ. He's got the technique of a Championship player and the brain of an U16 academy player.

£10m and West Brom  can have him.

Chadli was an absolute steal, a class above King and Amartey that's for sure. Our poor midfield recruitment has really bitten us on the arse. Losing Kante we had to get two CM's, not one.

I'm sure I read( on here probably)that the club turned down the offer because of the way the fee was structured, all add ons for certain achievements. The real fee was closer to £4 million.

The only position I see Schlupp ever succeeding in is CF. He doesn't create enough when he's on the wing, and he isn't a good enough defender to play at LB.

However, he has the attributes to be a half decent striker, playing on the shoulder like Vardy. He's got the pace, strength & power. His shooting and movement can be improved on the training pitch..

remember Vardy's first season with us? His shooting was terrible. I think Schlupp could make a similar transition.

but this whole post is literally clutching at straws, as he has no footballing brain.

I never usually say this but I'd happily pay for the taxi or drive him there.

He's just not good enough for the squad and we have better options now (Rather Fuchs/Chilwell at LB or Gray instead of him as a winger). He may have some flashes of good quality but that's not enough for us now. We've moved on and it seems Jeff hasn't stayed with the pace or caught up. He's frustrating and hilarious in equal measure.

Not read the article but how much are we asking WBA to pay for him?

Well I thought it was big bucks but Webbo thinks it's only about £4m with add ons ...    If we get extra when he passes his 11 plus we may be in trouble.

The only reason I want him to go now (I use the word want, on purpose) is with this request he has no more

heart and spirit for the task at hand needed. He hs lost his belief therefore the fight.Or he his not willing to

compete to earn the right..his right!!!.

I support and defend any, who wants to wear the shirt. I have never listened to his spitefull critics, though

fair criticism is and has been  at times warranted. IMO sometimes also unwarranted and unbalanced..

He played a serious part in our title, he would go rightlyfully as a champion.

If he has no confidence of further recognition, and by his own choice he has no reason to stay. Then he

should move on...

unlike some his services and play I believe he would have a better career with us than WBA....

Didn't we get offered 14m for him?

I'd have given you a fiver and some jumping beans.

Why we didn't sell in summer was beyond me.

Do you not think our staff have not workrd or tried to on his finishing since he was 16.

He don't have it in himself to cut it in the prem. This loyalty in youth players and King is what's killed us. Clean sweep get rid and improve. Yes Schlupp and king have done a job and been paid.

Are they really prem players No. Time to let go like Ulloa. We should have took the money on the summer to free wages for a CB and CM.

I think if he nails down the left back spot there he could end up being decent. Can't blame him wanting to go be nice to get 10M and put it towards another player.

Aye, and they still took it to us!

...but in all seriousness, Schlupp is maddening. One game he looks quite promising, another he looks like when you give a child not yet in primary school the sticks in FIFA.

There were times when his 25 min cameos have been very effective. His directness and pace have scared defenders and led to goals. This season has been disjointed for him, but when he has played he's looked woeful. He reminds me of Walcott in the way that there are raw attributes, but no brain putting them together.

The penny may still drop, but for 10 million I wouldn't gamble as its a risk. The penny never dropped for Theo!!

Happy to give him the benefit of the doubt in the Summer but his performance this season have been diabolical and atrocious. I accept players who work hard but haven't got the quality. However Schlupp's brain delays as he collects the ball and then literally stands there have been annoying to say the least.

Not good enough for us, but will still continue to play at the expense of the likes of Gray. Thanks for our efforts Schlupp, but don't expect us to beg you to stay.

Always been a fan of the much maligned Schlupp. However, with how he's performed so far this season, I'll drive him there myself. Anyone who wants to go to West Brom can't be all there..

Pre season I wasn't keen as I thought he could be a decent outlet. He's not pressed on though and he's always been stupid but recently he's looked lazy and stupid
