oh BTW to people saying why we were happy selling schlupp to a rival, its quite simple really

Ok. Where is our link player then? Slimani and Ulloa are two target men, but neither play the target man role. They more often than not play the withdrawn role off Vardy. It's braindead recruitment not to bring in a player who knows this position considering we can't play any other formation. Okazaki tries his best but is clearly not enough.

You said upgrade, not a different type of striker.

Let him go. If he doesn't want to play for us why keep him?

Genuinely don't get why people aren't understanding us not wanting to strengthen a rival. We are currently the most out of form team in the league and are in serious danger of being relegated. If we give Sunderland a striker that can score them 10 goals in the second half of the season and keep them up, that will single-handedly be the worst piece of business we have ever done.

We don't need £8m, we do need premier league survival.

Would not even accept 20m from blunderland

If we can get 8m off a european club then it is great. If he stays we wont get 3m for him in the Summer.

The money is irrelevant.

Would rather us get paid $$$ instead of having Ulloa leaching off the club while refusing to play.

The way the market is currently going, we'll probably get about £25m for him in the summer.

Am I missing something here?  We were after Kone, Moyes wanted £18 million for him.  Moyes now wants Ulloa and has gone to £8 million so far.  If nothing has changed surely it can't be beyond them to work something out.

Reported we were never interested in Kone.

I understand the argument about selling to your rivals (league wise) but to be fair if we can take all the money they have available and leave them with Ulloa, and no funds to buy anyone else/better, then I would personally say that's a pretty shrewd move

That is that for Sunderland'

Craig Hope is in the North East and brings us an update on Sunderland this afternoon. For Black Cats fans hoping for lots of movement, prepare to be disappointed...

'And that is that for Sunderland. No Leonardo Ulloa deal & nothing else in the pipeline. Leicester refused to sell to a rival & David Moyes has now accepted that. Time to prepare for tonight's game against Spurs..'

hes going to be a leicester player at 11 isnt he?!

Unless a foreign side come in for him around the region of £6m/£8m then yes he will still be here.
