Have you watched Dortmund play regularly, or are you just going off name/hype in the media?

I think our style has almost run its course now unless we bring in suitable replacements which we've failed to achieve in the last few windows, the majority of players in the system are 30+ and still rely on Vardy up front to make it work. The chance to renovate the squad has been passed up I just hope we don't regret it.

shen Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Huddersfield signing Mooy from Man City for £10m (£8m + £2m add-ons). He's 26, has never played PL football and was brought to Man City 12 months ago from Australia football. What is up with these fees?!

Looked head and shoulders above most last season and I can see him fitting in quite comfortably. Great all rounder in the middle of the park.

Lets say Vardy or Drinkwater were on loan in our promotion season and we had to pay ten million to sign them, would we not have? I mean we basically paid that for Ulloa just because he bagged a hattrick against us when we were hanging.

Brainy Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Le Tissier slagged us off for sacking a guy that was taking us down, but is saying its fair enough Soton sacked Puel because despite having a season that their fans would have taken, the football wasn't that good.. what an utter bellend. 2
RonnieTodger Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Le Tissier has some cheek after what he said when we sacked Ranieri. One of the reasons they binned Puel off was because of how negative they were and they still beat Ranieri's side 3-0
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 (edited) Obviously I'm biased, but I think Mooy for 10 million is an absolutely brilliant signing for Huddersfield. It's not like they're going to be attracting someone like Ndidi. He was one of the very best players in the championship, fits in brilliantly at Huddersfield and is still improving. Big call, but I think he could have a similar effect for Huddersfield as Sigurdsson has at Swansea. They will need some other serious signings to survive however. Fairly confident it'll be regarded as a great piece of business by the end of the next season. 2
Melbourne Fuchs Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 (edited) Everton looking to sign Niang from Milan, they've apparently agreed on a transfer fee of around €18 million. That looks like a Walsh signing to me, weren't we linked with Niang on a few occasions? He's quite inconsistent but at 22 he'll only get better. Edited 15 June 2017 by Melbourne Fuchs
Grantham Fox Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 With Mooy looking like a done deal, they've also had a bid rejected for Tom Ince. Looks like they're going for it. Massively improve the squad they would.
MC Prussian Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Pickford to Everton official - £25m, rising to £30m. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40258852 Madness - what's Kasper's worth then?

AmarteyAndChill Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 Klaassn and Niang look like done deals, suprised Everton would be in for Niang.

Wymsey Posted 15 June 2017 Posted 15 June 2017 I reckon that Everton will become a strong force than they have been in a few seasons. You can tell now really they're ready to advance further.
UPinCarolina Posted 15 June 2017 Author Posted 15 June 2017 I think that Everton might now be out of the running for Siggy. £30 million must have been too rich for their blood. They're really going for it, aren't they?
