Gray - considering future

I think he just wants to know he cost a club 25 million.

Probably would do alright there. Would be pissed off if he suddenly starts scoring more than 2 a season.

Go to wingbacks with Chilwell and Albrighton?!

Chill we're throwing £30m at Townsend lol

Seriously though, we're not accepting any bids yet so panic stations are a bit premature.

dont believe anything sky sports news say... they have such a reputation on deadline day they will make stuff up just to keep the viewers watching until midnight.

I don't see us letting him go. But... If we think he is a mardy git now...!!

Can I just point out by the way, if Mahrez does leave and then Gray leaves because he wants more playing time then, er, I told you so.

He does know if riyad goes he'll play every game?

Exactly. He will get the chance he has been waiting for. Unless any Mahrez deal falls through and then he will be proper mardy.

I think it was mentioned elsewhere first.

Fair enough but £65k weekly? What's he done to earn that?

We're refusing £30m offers so he is easily worth that.

There's something badly wrong if players want out to go to Bournemouth lol

Not an automatic first team choice, so understandable if he wants first team action.  Surprised we've not agreed yet to the move.

If Mahrez goes it might be worth selling Gray and going to wing backs.

Get rid of Drinkwater, get Silva in as a CAM/3rd midfielder.

Any two from three up top with Vardy, Iheanacho and Slimani.

We'd also need another CB in that case

Today could be an absolute disaster. Even if the players don't go we're gonna have a very unsettled squad

This is the effect of the disaster that was the 2016/17 season. Instead of building on winning the League, by recruiting decent players that added quality to the team, we imploded and then appointed Shakey and Appleton. The message it sent our prized assets was that we are a mid-table team at best, and that if they have an ambition to challenge for trophies they should move elsewhere. Mahrez and Drinkwater will be gone and, I suspect, come this time next year Vardy will not be playing for us either.

Never going to be sold whilst Mahrez is still in the shop window.

I sometimes question the logic of this club but there's no way they would let him go knowing that having put a price on Mahrez a late bid for him would see us lose them both.

Got on a flight to Holland with the U21's... not far away I know but he certainly isn't breaking from the team to suggest anything will happen soon.
