Photos of a young black kid posing in a City shirt at the training ground doing the rounds on Twitter, he looks a bit too 'dark' to be Iborra....

Post it?

This one really wets my whistle. Would already be a big upgrade on current options and clearly has crazy developmental potential. Would be a great signing, hope we can pull it off.

If we do secure him what would be next on our list of priorities? A winger maybe?

Pete O'Rourke is normally fairly reliable, or at least was when he worked at Sky.

Was it him responsible for sky claiming Charles Aranguiz had actually signed for us?

Take it with a pinch of salt that Peter guy did work for Sky Sports but since he was sacked by them he knows nothing. Has got loads wrong in the past

He has certainly been reliable at times since leaving Sky, but can't vouch if in recent times he has become unreliable.

If the deal was actually close surely he wouldn't have gone to America with their squad

100% true!!

76 pages & it will turn out that we never did anything beyond enquire about him

Maynard all over again

Like Sky Sports, he was relevant before every man and did dog has twitter. Now all the reporters (who are the ones with the contacts) have twitter accounts, they get the information out there personally long before Sky or him have a clue what's going on.

Not going to get my hopes up, but if we got Maguire, Iborra and Iheanacho over the line, we will have done some seriously good business- people are banging on about Everton, but we wouldn't be far off.

Schmeichel, Maguire, Huth, Ndidi, Iborra, Iheanacho, Vardy. Some spine, that.

Sweet this could be on again

it was never off.

As far as I'm aware Man City have allowed us to talk to the player. Presumably they've let him talk to other clubs as well who have bid for him but no idea who those clubs are.

I hope that's true....

The key to note from that article is the line "according to Man City sources".

If the selling club sources are suggesting this, it would appear the matter is firmly in our hands now.
