If we line up with Albrighton and Simpson on the right next season we'll be relegated.

And why would that be?

We knew he was off and he's done it the right way by being honest.

However, why the hell would we let him go for 30m?

He's on a long term contract, he can go when we receive an acceptable bid.

We aren't struggling for cash.

Until then, he can train with the kids.

You just know Rudkin has put a stupid clause in his contract. He will probably leave for something like £5m and we have to pay his wages for another year.

Not shocked at all. At least it won't drag on all Summer

It might do if he is looking for the Barcas but only the Liverpools come knocking....

he has just took 20M off his price tag though by saying he wants out. expect wenger to come in and bid £4.50 and a kit kat.

This we don't need to accept a low offer... we have all summer to sort this out and get what he is worth

Properly gutted about this, absolutely lovely to watch him play football at times. Doubt we'll see anyone as gifted as him here for a long time, if ever. All the best Riyad you beautiful man.

The most technically gifted player ever to wear the shirt and someone I have enjoyed watching immensely over the years. Likely to be the only LCFC player that will ever win the PFA Player of the Year award and gutted he's leaving. But we all knew it would happen and isn't necessarily the worst thing for the club.

Good luck to him in the future and I hope the baptism of fire this gives Demari Gray means he can fulfill his potential.

We wont get nearly what he's worth. But if he wants to leave, it puts the club in a tough predicament. Either you honor his wishes and sell at a discount (25 mil) or you don't let him leave and have a Ulloa 2.0.

Demarai has some big shoes to fill next season.

Sad to see him go, but it's hardly a shock. I just hope he goes abroad rather than Arsenal, and the fact Wenger has signed a two year contract means his agent may well persuade him to do so rather than join a club that's declining in PL stock.

Should we get £30m-£40m for him, it means we must invest in the defence. I feel that Lawrence and Gray already look good prospects on the wing as direct replacements, and our need for central defenders is greater anyway.

Good luck to him though, the most naturally talented player I've ever seen in a Leicester shirt and one of those who could be worth the ticket price on his own at times. He was unplayable in the league winning season at times, and that goal at the Etihad should have been uploaded onto PornHub.

Maybe Mahrez should just turn up at Barcelona's ground, like Odemwinge drove to QPR a few years ago.

That worked.

gutted to see Riyad go but not at all shocked,

see some saying him coming out and saying he wants to leave has knocked X amount off the fee we could get for him......

thanks for everything Riyad

Thanks Riyad, will never forget the brilliance of our title winning season.  What a player, I hope he goes on to the very top of the game.

Good Luck!

If he goes to Monaco then fair ****ing play. Great club, speaks the language, one of the best cities to live in the world and not Arsenal.

He's literally the opposite to a Klopp player.

I Obviously didnt mean JUST Liverpool... by saying ' The Barcas' im meaning the  absolute top clubs. By saying ' the Liverpools' im meaning those with the potential to do well

We aren't that cash strapped, that we would have to reinvest Mahrez's transfer fee for CBs.

Kante is the best player to ever play for this great club. Riyad was either shit hot or just shit. A great player overall, no doubt, but too inconsistent to be considered our best or World Class which I believe Kante to be.

For this to be publicized, there's definitely a move in the pipeline. I hope it's Monaco, not an English team.
