Collymore Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 I swear some people on here are just motivated to look for negatives and then jump on them... You are embarrassing some of the "so called" fans on here, especially in the post match thread who are abusing Shaky.... YOU should resign from FT. Yes we lost but to blame Craig is not on. he made substitutions that he felt fit at the time because he knows more than all of us on here put together. I actually saw genius in his tactics, but this time didn't pay off.
Fox 4 Life Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 Spot on. Just **** off you negative cretins. Defending from set pieces is the issue as ever. Anyone that just heard Craig speak will see he knows exactly what he's doing, classic FT blame game in full swing
matty98 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 This is a forum where people share their opinions, some people think it was Shakespeare's fault others don't, there's nothing 'embarrassing' about having an opinion just because it doesn't match yours.
AKCJ Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 He was brave and I'll always commend that. We won the league and made the Great Escape with bravery, we almost went down with hesitation and negativity.
dmayne7 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 Genius?! What am I missing. Oh and by making that comment, is kind of like you're implying you know better than everyone else... We lost because our defending is embarrassing. Leicester fans are beyond fickle so not really sure what you expect
Corky Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 As long as people make decent points and not just calling the manager and players a twat etc, you shouldn't stop them speaking.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 Whilst I agree with some of what you say I think he has to take some of the blame as the change of shape arguably handed Arsenal the initiative. I agree that abuse is not on but criticism and disappointment is part and parcel of it isn't it? He'd be getting a lot of praise of we'd win or even drawn.
Number 6 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 He's learning. I'm all for discussion but some on here have been sharpening their knives for a while already.
frany104 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 What's embarrassing is this thread you have started. Just because their opinion doesn't match yours.

Exactly, it's just a football forum. Some people are so precious. Most of the 'stop being so negative get behind the lads' threads are just created to get likes.
Max Power Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 First sub good, second sub bad. Hopefully he learns from it.
Larry_LCFC Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 I'm sorry, but those decisions were utter inexperience and stupidity. Allowing Mahrez to remain on the field whilst playing that badly? Gray should have been on for him a long time before the end. Taking a midfielder off for Nacho, having taken a striker off for Amartey? Just makes no ****ing sense. He made us shut up shop, and yet again it failed. We do not have the quality to absorb pressure indefinitely. In our case, attack is definitely the best form of defence. The buck stops with CS.

Blue ROI Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 Got the subs wrong I felt but very few expected much from this beforehand and it was a good effort overall. 'Shakey out' would be more understandable if we were bottom after 7 or 8 games. Relax people.

dynamark Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 Second sub was wrong decision and Shaky knows it.Sorry to disagree with your view

Like Porto (H) last season. We've still not lost like 95% of the games we've scored first in.
kingfox Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 The way we conceded the goals was not because we brought Iheanacho on. Lapses of concentration cost us, our usual downfall of set pieces cost us. Shakespeare for 80 minutes got the game plan spot on, unfortunately poor defending then let us down, not Shakey.

I think the first substitution was a bit negative and to early for my liking there was still 20 minutes to go. But hopefully he will learn from this experience.

You cant do that against a team like that when they have the whole ground behind them.
HesNotGudjonsonn2 Posted 11 August 2017 Posted 11 August 2017 I'm trying not to eat cheese or bread at the moment. I had a post match cheese sandwich. That is how fickle is LCFC fans are.

Exactly, the positive police are back, and in fairness, Shakespeare kind of questioned himself, but then decided the lack of concentration was to blame, not his tactics/ subs

I'm not having a go at your right to defend the club, or those involved in it. Your comment just came off a bit righteous and it's always been like this on here; people love to vent.
