disagree; we aren't an embarrassment. This incidence is embarrassing as we've clearly cocked up and its incredible how we did, but same time it highlights grey areas in FIFA ruling. If they're saying we're embarrassing due to our fall from grace, well I think it just shows how well we played in that year and it shows how critical recruitment is.

English Premier League outfit Leicester City have revealed their frustrations after FIFA refused their appeal to register their deadline day signing Adrien Silva.

Silva was ‎signed from Sporting Lisbon by Leicester City but his move failed to meet the deadline for registration of new players, but Leicester City were hoping to get him registered hence they appealed to FIFA.

However the FIFA’s Players Status Committee rose from their meeting today and backed the decision earlier taken by the English FA in denying them a waiver to register Silva.

While Silva’s case was turned down, MFM forward Stephen Odey had his wish granted as his registration with FC Zurich which failed to meet the deadline day for registration was approved.

Odey is now in line to make his debut for the Swiss side after the international round of games this weekend for the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers.

This is absolutely disgraceful to allow one player clearance on a dodgy visa application but Leicester’s bid not to be accepted FIFA somewhere have royally Fuched up somewhere along the line and I can see Leicester using all the legal clout behind them to put in a law suit against FIFA  but are probably awaiting any outcome from the CSA !!

 

Fifa have certainly gone against their own code of ethics by not allowing silva to play  and be in football limbo by not looking after the players best interests ??

Everything was submitted before the deadline, and the data supporting this is irrefutable. There is no legal basis at all for FIFA to reject the appeal. I can only assume they rejected it to avoid the embarrassment of publicly admitting that they were wrong. 

It’s fifa flexing their muscles trying to make an example of us for one reason or another maybe Infantino is mates with Claudio and it’s so funny to read their codes of conduct regarding corruption and bribery it’s almost like FIFA will not condone any type of corruption or bribery to its said officials in high positions unless it’s in a brown paper package with dimensions of XY&Z and filled with the highest denomination of said countries currency and tied with gold string with the wording “ PRIVATE AND CONFIDENTIAL IN BOLD ITALIC TEXT!!”  !!

Yep and me. If we've actually met the rules then for all I think we've pushed it, it is clear bias if they do turn it down.

SCORENigeria understands that Franco-Cameroonian agent Olivier Noah has allegedly submitted two different copies of the international passport of Stephen Odey to FC Zurich in a desperate bid to scuttle the transfer.

He has also demanded a percentage from the striker’s transfer to the Swiss club.

The passports carry different ages of the MFM FC star.

Noah was the one who facilitated the botched move to Danish club Midtjylland during which the two passports also surfaced and Odey was branded an age cheat.

“Yes, the boy’s two passports were also sent to FC Zurich, but it seems they are not interested in that,” a source told SCORENigeria

“The handlers of the player had already forewarned them against that and have also attached court papers which have cleared the player of any misdeeds.”

It was further gathered that the rival agent has demanded a percentage from the player’s move to FC Zurich even though he did not broker it.

The agreement between he and the player has since expired, another source informed SCORENigeria

“There is no way he can get anything from the boy’s transfer because he did not facilitate it and moreover, his agreement with the player has since ended,” said the source.

Noah is a persona non grata in Nigeria after a rash of allegations were leveled against him in the transfers of Isaac Success, Kelechi Iheanacho, Wilfred Ndidi, among many other Nigerian players.

We don't know the date that the appeal went in. We do know that the FIFA appeal can take 30 days to respond and yesterday was around 30 days since we heard the original registration was with held. the club could well have acted within a week or so of that knock back.
