Bryn Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 Think we will miss Iborra but he will almost certainly need the rest. Rotation is a part of modern football, we do need to evolve to have better options than King but it is necessary over the course of a season.

Let's hope things look better on the grass. Don’t think their side looks anything special at all. Redmond and Gabbiadini are two of the better players imo and they’re on the bench
Popular Post Captain... Posted 13 December 2017 Popular Post Posted 13 December 2017 Has anyone considered that King might play better in a more possession based side and not relying on a quick counter attack every game and virtually by passing the midfield. King was at his best when he could receive the ball in the middle lay it off then get forwards, ghosting into the box to finish off moves. The last few seasons have passed him by as he isn't Kante or Drinkwater he is Kingy our top scoring midfielder, including crucial goals in the last few seasons. Our new way of playing might suit him as he will get passed the ball rather than spend the game chasing the ball. 5 1
Filberts lovechild Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 Gray doesn’t need resting surely. Very odd line up
mhs123 Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 Nine premier league winner's in that starting eleven only two years ago ladies and gentlemen. 4
Beechey Posted 13 December 2017 Author Posted 13 December 2017 Jesus Christ we must have the most fickle fanbase in the league. Absolute divas the lot of you. 2
RumbleFox Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 If I was King and I scored today I would literally get my nob out and start swinging it about, obtaining the perfect lob ratio then just run into the crowd doing a kind of penis windmill and hopefully hit a few of the posters on here. Man's a legend. I'd let him do very bad things to me. Come on Kingy you ugly, beautiful freak. X 1 1 2

Spot on, a draw and we'll be calling for Puel to be knighted. If he'd picked an unchanged side and lost, we'd be saying 'he should've made changes !' Let's see what happens. ?

But other changes are wrong for me. Ok Iborra wasn’t great the other night, but King? Dropping Albrighton is poor and putting Chilwell in his place is inexplicable. The boy is not comfortable with the ball at all, he just runs forward a few yards and then stops and starts thinking about where he’s going to kick it. Sounds like Albrighton to be fair. Most of the time he just twats it to nobody.

The Guvnor Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 Claude, you just don't get it do you ? Why don't read the fcuking pre match thread, then none of this stupid team selection would ever happen............... FFS. 2
KingKoala Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 This is not exactly Shaky is back. Yes it is in formation but how we approach and utilize Kings strength matters.

RODNEY FERNIO Posted 13 December 2017 Posted 13 December 2017 Must have had an extra £2 million in his payoff on the condition that if he was ever to manage a team facing Southampton for a certain period he must ensure that he loses.
