Kinowe Soorie Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Complete nut job! Makes Was look like a Nun.
Ted Maul Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 I liked him last season, but I think that says more about the season than the player. 2

He can’t pass water. Against Fleetwood in both games he continuously tried long aerial balls which failed. He isn’t terrible by any stretch but he’s not good enough where this club wants to be.
lgfualol Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 (edited) Dont think he is a bad player. Him and Huth were quite good together when Morgan was injured for a bit last season. He reminds me a bit of myself on fifa, at least once a game I want to two foot someone and get a booking. With Benny it's weird because he isnt even subtle, just ****s someone up in front of the ref Sell Edited 22 January 2018 by lgfualol 2
fuchsntf Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Hes simply the best CB we have. If you want to argue over this point... Wasi, is on call just to make sure there will be no arguments.
TheyCallMeMrCarbohydrate Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 That attempted back heel at Man City last season made me think he should never play for us again...
5waller5 Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 (edited) I've thought that he looked half decent in the past ..... But the passing game is definitely not one that he's suited to - Almost everytime he gets the ball he lumps it aimlessly into touch. Decent player for Shakespeare style sides, but not for Puel. coolhandfox Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Ok squad player, but if we can free up some wages and get a small fee, time to move on. Harry, Dragon, Huth, Morgan will see us though to the end of the season!
AjcW Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 I thought last season he helped us out a lot and deserved respect for that. Also took genuine pride in captaining our U23's and helping younger players, even when he knew it was a come down and that he had no first team prospects. But yes this season he has fallen off a cliff and needs to be moved on.

Play him week in and out and he's a half decent defender. Good luck to him. 1

Koke Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Benalouaneno has been here for 2 and a half years, two and a ****ing half years. He's been collecting his £40k a week rotting in the U23s and doing f all. I know he only cost about £5-6m but the wages we've been giving his guy for years is insane. Get him off the wage bill by any means.
somebum Posted 22 January 2018 Posted 22 January 2018 Terrible defender, simply shocking, no distribution awful
fuchsntf Posted 26 January 2018 Posted 26 January 2018 Keep him, for all the reasons, in this Topic. Keep him around for this and next season.. If Huth and Morgan, struggle for next season.Drago decides to go back to Bayer. Even with the youth, we could struggle for cover. Benny staying /going will not be releasing necessary funds. So no skin of our noses. I see Moore , being involved and getting game time...
Gerard Posted 26 January 2018 Author Posted 26 January 2018 Just now, Farrington fox said: I want him gone. Me too, he's deadwood not squad depth.
Finn Claw II Posted 26 January 2018 Posted 26 January 2018 Him, Musa, Ulloa add virtually nothing to the squad. Ship them all out at least on loan to free up wages. He is a bit of a nut job though so mildly sad to see him go

Nobody else will pay him him that money so he won't leave permanently. Who can blame him? Dud signing, silly long contract

st albans fox Posted 26 January 2018 Posted 26 January 2018 Is there any actual transfer news on him ??

KingsX Posted 31 January 2018 Posted 31 January 2018 Interrupting my 24 hour self-imposed sanity break from any Mahrez-related stimulus to let you know. We are henceforth starting YB29 in any and all contests against Man City. Diverting Vardy's case of Red Bull to his locker before the game, along with a large bowl of little tablet treats that will remind us why he is called "Benny." Claude to tell him to "play his game", just not be such a damn wimp in his challenges. The ankle is part of the ball. . That is all. 4
