I've never seen Mahrez have so much of the ball - nor do so little with it. 3 poor shots, so many lousy corners and free kicks .

James has had a pretty decent first half. Not sure if he should have been marking shaqiri for the goal, think it was more likely Morgan should have stepped up. Chilwell had marked Sahqiri one on one so well on his side of the field.

albrighton has been livrly but when the only targets in the box are vardy and Mahrez and you keep passing it to Mahrez there's something wrong.

Our corners have been very very disappointing.

Still no reason why we shouldn't win this easily looking at Stoke.

What has happened to the crowd. No atmosphere from the word go which only got worse.

They just spent 45 mins sticking needles in their eyes

Puel out!

Going to throw 7th place away.

Far to negative

I have been calling for this for a few weeks he ain’t gotta clue.

Now can you see why Southampton got rid of him.

We've gone too far towards possession and lost the directness that has made us difficult to defend when we're on

Mahrez has been great (don't know if there's a better first touch in the Premier League) - that's it

I don't get James... not blaming him for the first half or anything, but - I really don't get it

Gray in the middle is not working

Look at the goal.

Whats is Gray turning back like that for? Drive on. He turns and gives the ball back to the defence needlessly.

He absolutely is not good enough to be starting Premier League games.

At least Mehrez has been free - all game.

The defender is so inexperienced.

Think we need Silva on to unlock this game and possibly Iheanacho to prove a threat upfront.

Pathetic.

Reminds me a lot of watching England, comfortable passing at the back and in midfield but offer nothing going forward.

it's nice to see us more comfortable in possession but if it's at the expense of winning then I'd rather see us go back to a counter attacking team.

Get Silva and Diabate on for James and Albrighton.

Gray has regressed or stalled in his development. Simpson ought not to start in a possession based system. James doesn't have the pace to keep up with any rapidity ahead of him.

My housemate's presence is annoying at the moment, but that Stoke goal made it far worse. Honestly tempted to turn this off at halftime and do something worthwhile with my morning.

And yes, I know that type of whining is ridiculous - but so is how negative and shit our play has been up to this point.

I get this feeling a lot these days. Almost becomes a waste of 2 hours of my day

7th is done. I'd be more worried about that gap to the bottom closing at the rate it is. We look utterly horrendous at the moment, can't see us beating anyone.

Absolute rubbish.

No idea what our game plan is, no intensity, no creativity, just poor all round.

Has Vardy touched the ball more than twice?

Gray and James are useless, Albrighton is having a mare.

Stoke have conceded over 50 goals and we've barely troubled them.

Need a decisive reaction in the second half.

I'd shift to this

Simpson    Morgan    Maguire    Chilwell

                    Ndidi    Silva

    Diabate        Mahrez        Gray

                          Vardy

Honestly think Gray has gone backwards.

I was a big Gray fan, even when a lot of people were slating him. He was always capable of beating a man and doing something dangerous, even if his final ball wasn't always there. Now he doesn't even do that anymore.

The problem is both holding midfielders end up on the touchline - why James goes to support wilf all the way out there I’ve no idea - anyone else then fine but not your fellow cdm

Absolutely awful. Chilwell shocking, again. Why we not playing our best players? Silva, Iborra? Diabate? James absent. Gray brainless. We are so poor. Cant see progress under this guy at all.

Yea my opinion on him has done a 180. He gets chances to play and does **** all.

Puel has been with us long enough to be able to know the right team, but he going backwards with his teams,  seems clueless, we seem to have fallen into the habit of going backwards movement on the pitch instead of forward, starting to wonder if puel can really take us forward?

You're getting boring with your constant digs at Mahrez. Your dislike of him clouds your judgment. Gray was shit, Albrighton was shit and James was shit. But no, you have to take a dump at our only attacking threat playing with litterally no support.

I’d be tempted to make 3 changes and change the formation too.

We need 3 in midfield and wingers capable of pulling their players out of position on the pitch. Maybe need Ineanacho on supporting Vardy too. If their going to park the bus we need to give them too many things to think about and pull them out of position/ distrupt their organisation.
