Puel according to newspaper reports is now blaming the players, saying they are thinking about the world cup or other things.  This does not sound good.

Funny, wasn’t saying that after the first half against Southampton!

I wasn’t able to make that game but from what I’ve heard it was our worst performance for a long time (obviously before the palace game)

I’ve not been Puel out and remain uncomfortable unless we really have a better alternative but I was thinking this morning - after six months here, which players have improved under his coaching

you could see how much better the defence were after a few months under Claudio but I’m not sure where I can see any improvements under Claude ?????

I’d say Ndidi has improved the most. Not sure how much of that is down to Puel

Whether one stays behind Puel,or crys out for his head...

This present bunch who are highly Payed PL earners, shouting out they want

Respect ,recognition,or a better move,or just believe they deserve more game time, its

this whole squad that have let this Club down with the approach and attitude towards

Every single game in 2018.Unlike many I am more upset with our players than I am Puel.

You can all cluck around like mother hens, defending their inept Individual performances,

against this French Ogre tactics, but they within the simple basics of football and ethics,

have Been piss poor. The Individual players have been getting away with their incompetent

approach to their chosen career while representing our Club!!!

3 major exceptions..Vardy ,Drago and Maguire.

Plus, excuses for Iborra,Silva and Off form Ndidi, try to build up on their 1st seasons, with

Teamates that are lacking in commitment, attitude ,effort and making continually

basic ball schoolboy controlling/holding errors.

You can all crow about Puels competenence, but any manager, needs the Individual and the

Squad to have that want, from game one this season few have shown..that want!!

I have been patient, but have been utterly embarrassed, with their attitude in Every gameday

showing since Januars,no matter what this or any other manager would have expected then

rightly or wrongly to play to certain and planned tactics.

Ffs ,Every single one of them, would shout out they are flexable and competent to take on New

Tactics if they moved to another Club.

.Mahrez I have been his major, probably only defender, but he was either a one season wonder,

or is really not playing intentially to his top potential,he is the one player in our squad, who could

of pulled our games together, and pulled maybe forced with his skills and desire the others

along with him....Alot expected from this Individual??..!   Maybe ,but Class and quality players

can do this.Gray though young, should be strutting his stuff out on the pitch, this season.

Newcastle,Palace,Everton since xmas and the Burnley players for 3 seasons, have earnt their

right to call themselves PL players, our group has somehow lost that right, and No and No

again, can they blame the manager, for what they have puked out every matchday.

Did you get a load of commas for Christmas and trying to use them all up?

wouldnt it reflect better on the owners if they kept him and backed him with ben arfa, perriera etc.  and if by the first 10 games we're still terrible but dont have the excuse of a past it squad anymore then the owners will have a better reputation and attract better managers

No announcement this morning, so either exit being negotiated or the owners are sitting on their hands.

..not sure we can get to Friday without some sort of comment from the club.

I’m guessing it won’t happen today if at all, usually you’d know come lunchtime Monday if a manager is going.

Whilst I understand this weekend was horrendous.

'Not sure we can get to Friday without some sort of comment from the club' is really a statement reserved to losing 10 in a row, or being rock bottom, or looking like we'll get relegated.

It's not quite the same when it's one horrific result and not a lot of great results. Overall though we've lost 6 out of 19 since the new year in all competitions, with 6 wins in there too. So not really 'crisis back the manager' time.

Not saying he's staying or anything, just think they'll be happy enough seeing the season out.

I understand that perhaps there will be more managers available after the season has ended, but I really do think we would benefit now from sacking Puel and getting someone in for the last few weeks. Even if they aren't on the touchline, they can at least be assessing the squad and putting a plan in place and having a big input in the recruitment side of things.

I voted to give Puel time a week or so ago, but I am now very much in the camp of removing him as soon as possible and getting someone in now to start planning for next season!
