SouthStandUpperTier Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Salah exaggerated it, but it was a pen for me. Brainless defending.
That_Dude Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Just now, Mehrez said: It’s a pen but only because he’s threw himself to the ground.. again Nah, the CB wrestled him a bit too much.
Hammo Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Morrison's an idiot. Salah's a cheat. That's cleared that one up.

Jonezy Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Its a really annoying part of modern football, that you actually have to fall like Salah to get the decision. I hate diving, but if you don't fall you do not get the decision. Just like when Robertson was pulling Morrison's shirt in the other box and Morrison went for the ball instead of falling over resulting in a goal kick.

It's just a case of getting the right manager in. They have huge problems, but none aren't fixable. Again though, Mourinho fits that bill in terms of not standing for shit and failed, I don't think there's anyone out there that would compare with Mou in that regard. Poch is a manager who stands for shit. A wide scale change at the top needs to be sorted out first, because while Poch is great at coaching players it isn't going to matter if the players you bring in are all for shirt sales and not creating a cohesive unit which can challenge for the top prizes
Hammo Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 I expect Sourness and Carragher to say how 'clever' Salah was to get the pen. I steer clear of punditry, turning off at the final whistle so someone will have to tell me if this is the case.

martyn Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 It was a penalty and a dive. Don't need to be mutually exclusive. Hopefully VAR can help result in players not needing to fall over to get penalty decisions.
UniFox21 Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 As if they're actually blaming the pitch. This is the premier league, every pitch is like a carpet, it's not as if it's Prem vs League 2 and its more mud than grass. Let's stop making excuses now.
AyewJoking Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Liverpool lucky with the pen and cardiff missed a sitter for 1-1 but thats the luck you need.
Corky Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 If that had been the other way round and Salah had gone through to score, Morrison would want the foul given. Yes it was theatrical but it was a foul. Morrison made no attempt for the ball and was stopping Salah from progressing.
TheSomersetFox Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Don’t blame Salah for going down like that at all. Have to go down to get the decision these days and he’s won a vital pen for his team. Their players and fans will all be absolutely loving him for it. That’s all that will matter to him. He does go down like he’s been shot mind you. Pretty often

Morrison had his shirt pulled before and nothing was given in the Liverpool area. Just the usual inconsistency I guess. Salah made sure the ref saw what was going on..
yorkie1999 Posted 21 April 2019 Posted 21 April 2019 Said it earlier in the season, but how the hell have Man Utd managed to get top 6 is beyond me. Absolute terrible team.
