Premier League Thread 2018/19 stuff it in here.

Palace are so good away from home playing counterattacking football but they struggle at Selhurst park.

Mid table teams are actually quite strong you have Everton, West Ham Crystal Palace,  Watford, Wolves and of us Leicester.

All with of them with great players, you can't really separate the top 6 with the midtable teams any more.

Think Mourinho had actually over-achieved at Man United with the way it's suddenly changing there under Solskjaer..

The club itself is cancerous, they overpay for their players and then overpay their players making them difficult to move. They have some quality players but not a quality team. I really hope Harry doesn't go there , he is too good for them.

Apart from 15 points!!

Seriously, though, apart from the top 2 I no longer look at the other big 6 teams on paper and think all of their players are better than ours. I think quite a few of our current players would get into the current first teams of Arsenal, Chelsea and certainly Man U.

Well, our next 3 games will test whether you're right or not!

Surely Morrison knows if there’s one player you don’t do that to, it’s cheating fooker Salah

I bet Warnock is tearing him up for arse paper

Sorry but Morrison had his arms all over and around him....who is cheating...

I have gave up on honest play from both defenders and strikers...yes Salah may have gone down ,

IMO refs should be penalising defenders with  arms all over the place, wrestling is not part of the legal game!!?

Right about Palace, relegation team at home but top 6 away. Been that way for years. Must be frustrating for their ST holders though.

Hope not, its obvious they’re gonna come sniffing with lures of big contracts for our players

They were saying it on the radio earlier. Prem teams apart from the top 3 or 4 are boring at home and exciting away

Twice.

Honestly disgraceful that we lost to that utter rabble twice.

Caught them at bad times both times though. For us.

The top six isn't all that. Man City and Liverpool are both excellent and Spurs are very good as well. The next three however... Arsenal don't convince me one bit, Man Utd are shite and Chelsea are basically Bournemouth plus Hazard.

Difference between top 6 and us is that they are flat track bullies, and we are not. If we learn how to put away rubbish sides like Newcaste and Palace then we are seriously going places.

Apparently Paul Pogba earns €17m per annum at Man United.

Really failing to understand why he deserves to earn so much, given that he's largely inconsistent and has wasted numerous opportunities for the team to score in good positions by wasting it via poor passes and/or wayward shots.

Would even say that Tielemans is a better player, overall, despite him only just quite recently starting to play in this league.

Pogba has astronomical commercial value, so does Manchester United as a whole and most of their business in the transfer market has been big names, commercial potential & reputation over much else. Signing Sanchez showed them up completely, they had no idea what they were doing but saw the big name, saw a chance to "get one over" Man City for the bants and in doing so signed a burnt out player who didn't fit in with their group at all and pay him over £500k per week! Thing is they can afford the outlay because their brand brings in the cheddar from all over the World.

It's a strange Club now because the balance is all off. Pogba isn't a bad player, in the right system he's a star. The thing is unlike France winning the World Cup with him they haven't got N'golo Kante releasing him further up the pitch into a freer role, they instead spend a bucket on Fred and have a defence made up of proven failures at their level of ambition.

Also wouldn't be comparing Youri to Pogba just yet. Youri is playing in the right system for him and even got an assist against West Aym on an off day, he's still at the early stage of his career. Pogba was playing for Juve in a tailored role and was tearing it up at his age.

Tielemans is utter shit mate, we all know it. No way he’s good enough for a top 6 side. Bloke can hardly play the game.

(Stop bugging him up will ya, some cnut might be looking. FFS).

They kind of need to be out of Europe to get back on track. No distractions and focus on rebuilding and the league.

They’ll never be the team that most of us saw win everything for years whilst there’s so much money in the league. The success Man Utd had was built on young players out of their academy that cost next to nothing. They’ll have half a billion in the bank for transfers and spend it on players whose hearts are not at Man Utd, look at pogba whose already on about Real Madrid. I know Man City have done well off money, but they’ve managed to get all the best players playing for each other at the right time in their history and have grown a club, Man Utd were already the top club and there’s only one way to go from being the top. I think for them to be the top club again they really do need to take a step back from the big competitions and start afresh. There’s really no point in just being thereabouts and maybe getting lucky, much like arsenal.

Agree.  I work part time in Malaysia and Manure endorse several products there from Snack Foods to Tyres and Airlines.  Same all other South East Asia.  Image rights must bring in Millions for Manure and Pogfart.
