he left Morgan out when playing badly and the local media and Journalist ****** went nutty asking several questions about it when he said first time he'd been rested vs Soton, the only way Wes Morgan won't play is to not be here

Yes completely over the top from stringer. However does Puel have to be influenced by that?

Gray and Morgan? Jesus. I'll be putting my money on a home win.

Not from the start, correct.

I can’t say I’m surprised that so many of us seem to have written the match off already, but Leicester have a habit of doing the unthinkable - so perhaps we’ll take it to them today.

Silva and Choudhury are different kinds of players so it's not a simple either/or.  Choudhury is more defensively minded. I'd say Silva hasn't been 'dropped' so much as it's a tactical decision; Puel wants a 2 man defensive midfield, and I can see the sense in that. Ndidi, despite his all around wonderfulness, is swamped trying to do that role on his own. I think we'll maybe need that defensive bias today.

you can cut that hint of optimism out.

it's never welcome on match threads here.

Okay. I'm starting to edge away from 'give Puel a chance' to 'wtf is he doing?'. No consistency at all in team selection. I can imagine those reports that players are pissed off with the constant chopping and changing are probably accurate.

Hopefully he proves a few wrong and the team put in a good shift.

Go on puel you mad bastard.

I'm fully expecting this to be a tactical masterclass where we record our biggest win of the season purely down to the tactics that must be accompanying this mad cluster**** of a team selection.

It's the only explanation

Puel clearly has another job offer so ... ...wants to ensure he is paid off at the end of the season if not before....

Now I’m on the fence with Puel atm but It does seem he’s experimenting with these last few matches.

He cant do wrong from right.. some people been moaning simpson doesn’t fit his style and some people moaning about potentially spending £30m on an unproven prem full back... so he drops Simpson for a player who has the energy and crossing attributes to fit the style of play, and now people moaning we’re gonna get dicked up against zaha... at least playing Albrighton means zaha will have to worry about defending... I bet van ahhnolt not happy having to defend against Mahrez with Albrighton overlapping!!!

As for reinstating morgan... some people said against Southampton we lacked leadership... well blow me he brings in the captain and now people are chastising him.

Like it or not He’s paid to be the manager so let him manage and support him and trust the owners to sack him if he failing

Strange thing is that came out before he started chopping and changing, the changes he was making a month or so ago no one was really disagreeing with. Then he finally drops Morgan and Simpson (deservedly) and all hell breaks loose.
