I know it’s the Sun but, thoughts?

That would make zero sence. Surely if you was going to bring in a new manager you would do it prior to any transfers.

[brucey]

Timing of this is a bit strange. Doubt it.

[Fox seen in Norwich]

Wow if true. Yes please

[DJ Barry Hammond]

I dislike both scenarios.

[Tuna]

If we're actually 'lining' up replacements in mid June we are beyond pathetic. If we were going to sack Claude we would/should have done it by now.

It's almost certainly bullshit however.

[Ian Nacho]

Absolute tripe.

[HankMarvin]

Did i just see Wengers name linked

[ScouseFox]

yerrrrs

"There are have long been suggestions that Nixon has built his career on actively colluding with agents to manipulate situations between players and clubs - though in reality that's pretty much how the media transfer gossip market works these days full-stop."

Maybe he does the same for managers

[Miquel The Work Geordie]

Bad timing 100% bit I'd have him over Claude without doubt. He's a bit up his own arse but he's a brilliant manager.

[STUHILL]

The guy ruled himself out of consideration for Arsenal.  No chance he is coming here.

Pretty clear the owners are sticking with Puel for now anyway.

Anyone remember the last time we fired a manager who struggled in the Premier League and then hired widely derided one?

No?

What happened?

Predictably he got the sack 18 months after being hired.

[mozartfox]

Roy Rogers would make more sense.

[boots60]

Is this Nixon chap actually getting paid to rehash out of date rumours?

Journalism at its lowest, more chance of a good story in Viz than the sun.

[knitro]

if you believe this I have a bridge to sell you..

[foxfanazer]

Not sure which rumour is more ridiculous out of this and the Rashford one

[sylofox]

"at a time of growing player unrest"

So they've booked shite holidays and blaming Puel are they. 6/8 weeks late with this me thinks.

[Fox92]

He won't come here and I'm not bothered anyway. Wouldn't want him.

[st albans fox]

Irrespective of the pros and cons of this fella, I don’t believe the attitude of the owners has changed - if they can get in a better option then they will........but they aren’t going to ditch puel unless they get a pre agreement from a new man. Puel is condisdered a safe pair of hands but not trusted to take the team to the level the owners want.

[Guest Sharpe's Fox]

Right jebbend but infinitely better than Puel get it done

That seems a likely scenario however why would we sanction signings then if Puel is going to get ditched? Makes no sense.
