Hard to go into the new season with any enthusiasm knowing that Vardy won’t be goading that same collection of fans at the Hawthorns.

A bit excessive.

Surely he has earned the deal and I for one feel that he thoroughly deserves it for the prem win and being Mr Consistent since. The legend of all LCFC legends.

He deserves everything he gets. Scorer of some of the best Goals I've ever seen.

A great attitude and a credit to himself. It takes a special kind of person to drive yourself so hard to achieve what he has.

He be spoken about for a very long time.

Congratulations for the new deal, Jamie!

Well deserved! Hope you continue banging them in left, right and center until you're 35. :D

Records are there to be broken. To a prosperous continuation of your already brilliant career! :appl:

The New MR Leicester....for the next 4 yrs,and maybe AS an Ambassador well into the future.

Gibson,Mcklintock,Wallington,whitworth,IanKing,Cross,Weller,Banks,

shilton,Walsh,Elliot,Muzzy,Worthington,Stringfellow,Andy King  and a few others

some other Fans, would put into this List,who....in their time trusted to put faith into Leicester City,

whether long or just for short Memorial moments,on and off the field.

AS an older Generation fan, each generation of players go by,and few stay too long "in fond memories"

One doesnt find it easy to want to Name modern ERA players AS worthy legends or greats...

Obviously Our title year openned up a New wave of thoughts and memories that go into legend status.

He joins my top list of legends...

Mr James Vardy, in signing and commiting to Leicester City FC, will be remembered AS a Leicester City

Legend and Idol, for decades to come...

Also for his initiative to create a Platform for lower league Players

to be given a Chance to develope their careers..

Jamie...thanks!!!..:worship:

If you are questioning this then you dont deserve to be a leicester city fan.

I don't think anyone is questioning him deserving it, certainly not me. The guy is an absolute legend and deserves every penny. But I am surprised the club has committed to him for 4 years.

Stanley Matthews played top level football into his fifties.

So this is nothing.

Next stop - the FA Cup Final we win 4-0 to be known in future as "The Vardy Final" and then a statue.

Could of gone arsenal and stayed. He's a young 31 probably still top quality in 4 years. Club legend now and deserves what he gets.

He could never score for us again and in four years time i'll still think this is the right decision.

What a man. If any player ever deserved a statue it's him.
