People talk about Maguire's importance after the Manchester United link, but Ndidi is simply irreplaceable to this team. It still hurts that we lost Kante, one of the best players in the world and one of the best ever at what he does, but honestly after Kante... we probably have the next best thing, and he is OURS. We forget that Ndidi is just 21 (!) because he has a maturity and confidence to his game that is usually nowhere to be seen in a player that young. Look at Saturday's game, people don't talk about him because he's always that good, and he is was one of the best players on the pitch! Wilfred Ndidi has quite simply done the business since day one. He was thrown into the team when we were in turmoil and in panic and he put out fires left, right and centre.

A bit like Mahrez, if we lost Ndidi, I don't think we could like for like replace him. He is that good and that important to our team.  The best thing is that he's a brilliant bloke as well. Down to earth, gives everything every game and has no ego.

I just can't help but be so optimistic about the team right now. We have some of the best young players in the division playing together. Perhaps this season it's too early to really push on for a trophy, but if we keep this new generation around for a few years, I think it will come. Despite how competitive the league is. I really want to say well done to owners and people behind the scenes at the club, because I really think we are doing things the right way and a legacy to the club and city is being created.

Another massive boost for the club showing we mean to keep moving forward. A major player for us and still a kid also another thumbs up to Rudkin. The moment the final whistle went yesterday and the physio treating Wilf indicated he had a head knock  and was a little dazed Rudders must have run like fvck with that piece of paper and pen and the good old could just sign this get well card for Bernie trick

Had to comment here because I am in total agreement with you. I look at some of the other teams who also want to compete and am just so happy with how we are doing it. I think Everton will finish above us this season, but they are investing a ton of money for the short term and success *now*. They do have some good players like Walcott, Sigurdsson, Tosun, Coleman but they are in their prime and won't last forever. There is no long term strategy in place. Wolves, Fulham and West Ham are all trying to buy success too and it is much, much harder than people think it is, because it takes time to build a team even if you spend a ton of money.

At thus club, we are BUILDING something and that is what is so exciting. It's not just the latest set of wealthy owners flaunting their cash, but a well thought out business and operation that genuinely want to build a strong but sustainable team and club, and it's happening in front of our eyes. For those at the game this week, in the program notes, Vichai laid out some of his thoughts and visions for the club, and the guy is quite clearly a man of his word.

Honestly, I hope the fans have a bit of patience for what could be a transition season because we are doing everything right. I would put money on Maguire being the next to sign up.

Seems a lot of players are keen in sticking or signing with Puel's Leicester. Not bad for someone apparently everyone dislikes.

Agree. Whatever the outcome of this season and Claude.

The man deserves some credit for selling the board a ideal.

Kasper is still one of the best keepers outside the top 6.

With Harry and 2 younger CB coming in. Chillwell. Gray. Madders etc all being young and given a chance. Signing Barnes before loaning him out. Wilf signed up. We have the core of a squad that could serve us well for a number of years still. 

I guess our issue is trying to sustain success against the mega bucks of man city, man Utd etc.

Whatever happens tho unless the game goes bust we have some exciting younger players who will command huge fees.

No idea what his new contract entails but he’s currently on 35k wouldn’t surprise me if that’s been doubled - and fully deserved imo
