I admire what Wes has done for us over the years but I think you must have confused me with someone else if you think I want him to start (but he's still better than Evans).

 

I like Puel and the fun attacking football with youngsters that he is developing.

 

we had way more attempts and shots on target than them and on another day we may have won - we didn't but it was a fun game.

 

Maddison looked great, Vardy was good, ghezzal was good, Mendy , Ndidi and Albrighton were fine.

 

I certainly didn't think it was dross.

As much as i'm fuming now, and I should be because defensively we were awful, Bournemouth have had 4 chances and gobbled them all up, we have had about 6/7 chances and fluffed most of them.

 

I think the scoreline makes it look worse that it is.

Bournemouth scored 4 goals from close to the goal, so in what ridiculous world would we win on xG? Do you not understand it or something? It's used to rate the quality of chances, not who performed better in a game. We created more chances, but they were much harder to finish than the ones created by Bournemouth, so we get a lower score.

Score line flatters them. A mixture of our inability to take chances and a dodgy penalty decision to them has pushed the game away from us

At least it wasn’t. A completely embarrassing scoreline but still defensively we have to improve quickly. 3 at the back has to be the way to go next week

I’m clearly in the minority but even at 4-0 I thought we deserved a draw. They didn’t player better than us in general play but they were more clinical and guess that’s all that matters

I've largely been in favour of what Puel is doing but we were shite today and it's fair to say that some of the worst performances we've put in since we were promoted have been under Puel (today, Palace away, Palace home). Easily as bad as anything we served up under Shakey if not worse.

Ndidi at least won the ball back a bit and made some interceptions. Mendy did nothing.
