Thank you so much Vichai for all that you have done for Leicester City Football club and the many good deeds to the city itself.

You gave us the best years of our lives. I will be forever grateful.

So sad to have lost a Leicester Legend.

Rest in peace. Can only thank him for all the club has managed to achieve since he took over.

Is a minute's applause at 61' during the next game being discussed?

Around 25 years ago, as an 8 year old boy, I sat on my bed gazing at the LCFC posters and newspaper cuttings that adorned my bedroom wall, dreaming of us winning the premier league, but never believing we could.

Then you came along and made the impossible possible, turning millions of dreams into reality.

But you didn't just do that. You lifted an entire city. You lifted an entire nation and an entire world. You showed that when the odds are stacked against you nothing is impossible, inspiring hope and dreams in the hearts of all of us.

You will always be more than our leader.

Your work for the people, communities, generousity and kindness is something for us all to be eternally proud of.

From that little boy 25 years ago, and from the man I am today. Thank you Vichai, thank you my friend. Rest In Peace x  ?

I’m gutted. Never met the man but he has brought so much joy to Leicester city. I’ve loved this club since I was a young lad and never did I dream of seeing the things I’ve seen. Thank you Vichai, my happiness owes to you. Rest in peace fine sir. Thank you for the kind charity you brought to the children’s hospital too. An incredible act of generosity.

Leicester loves you more than you will know

Why ?

Just so everyone who doesn't have social media can read the same message.

We all knew this was coming and yet somehow it's even harder to finally hear it confirmed. RIP Vichai, you will be missed dearly.

Horrific and tragic, he and his family transformed the club and hopefully his legacy will push us forward, that would be a fantastic way to honour his memory.

I haven't allowed myself to cry before now. But it's now sunk in. Vichai is gone.

I can't believe it. I'm absolutely devastated.

Thankyou for everything Mr. Chairman.
