I'd probably be mad if he had run on the pitch to do anything other than give Top a massive hug.

I had a season ticket until 2017 when I moved away from the city. I've missed it ever since but that feeling of homesickness has increased 1000 times since seeing the reaction to this tragedy and in particular, this video. I really wish I was there for what looked like an unbelievably emotional day. 

 

That was a perfect way to say goodbye to an amazing man.

Thought Alan Birchenall did a great job in announcing what was going to happen at the start when everyone else was quiet, just before the two-minute silence.

Must have been quite a harrowing experience.

How Top has managed these last 2 weeks only God knows.

Once things calm down THATS when it will get to him.

We should never let him feel alone.

Such pressure on his shoulders.

The whole day was so emotional and this part got me going( Time to say goodbye is just too much!)

The whole tribute was very touching and superb in how it was done

 

A minor niggle for me was the singing for Pearson and Ranieri during the lap of honour. 

 

No problem with it generally but I thought the lap should have just been about Vichai. 

 

I know that sounds a bit whiney so I shall take refuge ....

absolutely amazing. Incredible. This might be the greatest few minutes in our club's history. A celebration of everything Vichai did for us and hopefully creating a bond with Top which can never be broken. 

 

The football club has been incredible over this last couple of weeks. To steal Lord Coe's London 2012 speech (and in very different circumstances) - "when our time came, we did it right".

 

So proud of the club, the players, our fans and supporters of teams everywhere.

Even when i was going to matches alone (because none of my mates would come to Crewe and Plymouth etc.) i still knew we were a special club. We all kept the faith, they kept the faith in us. Im crying again
