st albans fox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Think he Will be on the bench Tuesday - could possibly start
themightyfin Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 You can only pick 11 and obviously the manager has not seen enough to warrant hid inclusion of late.
Messi Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Why is it that when a player isn’t playing or in the squad then he’s the saviour?
David Hankey Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 After all the much vaunting of his arrival what is the problem. Another bad buy!!

SystonFox Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Busy with YB29 replaying tweets of his training clips.
Stadt Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Because he's shit? Gives the ball away too often, plays it short al of the time, defensively mediocre, slow and weak. What is he good at? Genuinely, I'm trying to think of one thing he's good at and I can't; I'm not being facetious either.
Claridge Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Over all cost is probably £50 million. Easily one of the worst deals in football history. Wouldn’t even bother having him on the bench Tuesday

Foxxed Posted 24 November 2018 Posted 24 November 2018 Would only get in the team in an injury crisis. Sell in January. Promote Hamza as fourth choice DM.

With his experience in Portugal and has been quite as regular in the international side, surprised his knowledge in certain game situations hasn't given him the opportunity to play more of a part. Starting to feel like this transfer is a little similar, somewhat, to the Drinkwater one. Talent is wasted.

Langston Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 He's not rated. There's a reason a half fit Matty James was crowbarred in ahead of him at the start of the year. A very expensive dud. We're really bad at spending any considerable amount of cash.

Maguire's been the only £15m+ success out of Musa, Slimani, Silva, Iheanacho and Maddison (too early to judge still in his case). Abysmal. Ndidi too actually.
foxile5 Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 It boggles the mind. Integral part to the 2016 European Cup winning Portugal. Unable to get a game. Sixteen months later at City.
ealingfox Posted 25 November 2018 Posted 25 November 2018 Puel clearly doesn't rate him. I think he's got a part to play but I don't really disagree with Puel. I'm not really sure what he does.

Let’s not forget that he has not had any run of games, just like Slimani never did, so it is harsh for anyone to say he is crap and missed his passing to his teammates a few times on the odd occasions he played. He hasn’t not even had any chance to play alongside his teammates in competitive match situation. Iborra too never had any decent run in the side.

Iborra has had more chances than Silva and hasn't nailed down a starting spot. As for Silva, the whole transfer has been a nightmare for both parties, and not an inexpensive one either. It's up to Silva to raise his game and force his way in but he hasn't been capable of doing that. Given his start, I guess we shouldn't be surprised but he's been an incredible waste of money.
