Abaolutely appalling that was. Have to expect it when you play so many rusty players that arent very good at football though.

Hopefully a first choice XI for the quarters. If not we may as well not waste everyone's time, just give it to City

Puel's Leicester reminds me a bit of O'Neil's Leicester. Those were some of my happiest few years as a Leicester fan. Bloody being champions has ruined it. I've become like a Manure fan.

Soyunchu was man of the match, close second was Danny Ward.

I thought he was composed, deceptively quick aswell

Should he start on Saturday then to continue to build on this? or should we drop him for Morgan whose contract is up soon?

Things Danny Ward could stop:

Global warming

Jamal Khashoggi being chopped to pieces

Puel getting sacked

Meteorites

Tax fraud

Dropping your toast butter side down

My marriage

Rising housing costs

Yeah  but 12 million was way too much for a poor back up keeper ?

Not great but aside from that miss from Obafemi did they really offer much? Good save at the end was about all Ward did pre-shootout. Not that their keeper had more than basic catches to deal with.

Gray was infuriating, and should look at Diabates performance. Sure the end product was mostly buying free kicks (that's how you dive Madders) but he had a consistent end product. Soyuncu looked very good, unlike Evans who again made basic sloppy errors and I hope we move him on the moment Benkovic is back.

To be fair Saints have some decent players and redmond usually looks impressive. It’s not like we were playing a league 2 side - 9 changes were always going to take their toll. Hope they are up for the weekend game

Yeah as terrible a game as that was he was very good, we kept a clean sheet and we got through.

But its that VAR fella we need to keep an eye on. Bit slow but was impressed with how he always seemed to make the right decision. It was like he had eyes in the back of his head!

Gerrimin!
