Blimey, everyone moaning despite us winning in a glorious shithousery way and starting with 8 common first team changes.

Saying that, didn't watch it or listen, so...

not just based on tonight

We have got ourselves a top 2nd GK..Ward

We have found a young CB.............Soyuncu.

But God do we need desperately, another top striker, and a Dynamic midfielder...

We all laugh but Ward is a fantastic backup keeper.

Better than the shi*te in recent years with Big banter Ben.

onto the quarters :nigel:

Yes he is good and that’s great.

But hamer was a decent keeper (not first choice at all) and also a massively loved part of the title winning squad by his team mates.

Love the fact you forget we also signed jakupovic ahead of him.

Why do you feel the need to slag people off. So he didn’t play a lot here, that makes all the scouts and coaches that got him to his first professional contract are crap, and all the clubs that have signed him and payed him good wages are stupid and don’t know what there doing.

Or you don’t really know what your talking about, and thank god you don’t pick our side. You have fun on fifa 19, and have fun winning the champions league

Thought we were bob on tonight. Everyone put a shift in, created some really good chances and have put the usual XI really under pressure. Said nobody ever, even the slobberers..

We got lucky but happy days. Danny Ward is some boy and Soyuncu and Gray were decent tonight. We stay unbeaten and hopefully can have a good Christmas run rather than slump like we usually do.

I will bite anyone's teeth out who honestly thinks we shouldn't bring any additions in in January though.

Southampton may as well have had a wheelie bin in goal for the shootout, absolutely useless.

I completely understand the annoyance and frustration at the performances currently but those in the match thread who seemed pleased when Southampton "scored" late on are pathetic. Wanting your team to lose is just ridiculous.

Who did that?

We'll put in an absolutely unreal performance against Man City and lose to either a bs decision or falling asleep from a set piece. You heard it here first

Well, Jesus is against us

One goal in open play in four games!

No goals conceded from open play in 5 though to be fair.

The No-Maguire effect...?

No doubt some fans will divert the blame over to Puel; however our squad depth is simply not good enough.

We have too many players who are coming to the end of their Leicester careers, Simpson, Fuchs and Okazaki to name three.  We also have too many players who haven't lived up to expectations, Silva, Diabate and Iheanacho to name three.

Soyuncu had a positive performance tonight, Evans suits certain games over others but he looked good against Burnley and Brighton, apart from those two our back up players haven't done much recently.

January can't come soon enough, some of this dross need binning.
