Other than telling us all how awful we are (and for the sake of argument, I'll agree in this instance), where are all the constructive suggestions to counter this? Winning the league has absolutely ruined our fanbase. There are people trying to start chants in L1 but most don’t want to know. Pathetic when we have a morgue stadium, yet the bottom two clubs in the league turn up and make an effort.

Stadt Posted 15 December 2019 Posted 15 December 2019 Our support is just so passive, a lot don’t even react angrily (not what you want anyway) but just watch the game as if they were in their living room. I’m not expecting 29,000 to be like Boca Juniors fans but just to be a bit more engaged. What’s frustrating is that we have it in us, Spurs and Arsenal at home were both very good, if you make noise in one game why is it such a struggle in others?
OadbyBlue Posted 15 December 2019 Posted 15 December 2019 Tbh I don’t buy that we have a fan base like Bournemouth reading etc, just 4 years ago we were being hyped as the loudest in the league, even in 14/15 we were getting praise while being bottom for most of the season. The issue for me is that the title win has fully changed fans expectations and mentality, fans no longer can be arsed unless it’s a Man City or Liverpool coming to town, we EXPECT to roll over any of the lesser teams and wait for the players to give us something to shout about rather than roaring them on from the start. It’s a shame but we do have a decent amount who do contribute, they are just spread out and often not around likeminded fans
