It's shambolic in places, I feel for Puel. He's been handed a woeful strike force barring Vardy, we desperately need to invest in a winger and the CM's all flatter to deceive and don't create.

Surely he has had all summer to work that out

This manager is draining all the life out of this football club, we are just awful to watch. Even when we win we have been mostly very lucky, not worry he will play his strongest team on saturday and lose...

Answers on a post card then! Do we just do nothing?

I've quite clearly just said I'd prefer Iheanacho (in my original post) as the alternative is equally is bad.

Answer on a forum, not a postcard.

I'd very much like us to sign him.

As a side note, West Ham have:

1. Arnautovic

2. Chicharito

3. Yarmolenko

4. Perez

5. Andy Caroll

6. Antonio

!!! So even if half of them are injured they have 3 other options. When Vardy is out like now we have only two... I wonder what our manager and transfer board were thinking in the summer

Anyway let's have some proven game changer...

Its true, our attacking options are weak without Vardy. We desperately need a new striker. I've always hoped Iheancho would come good but just can't see it. Absoultely criminal he was nowhere near Albrightons crosses 1st half.

He was absolutely dreadful at Brighton. And to be honest he has been for about 2 years now. I agree Iheanacho is awful, but the alternative of Okazaki is equally as bad.

So push Gray into the fray ..... but please let’s do something with passion and desire, Puel needs to be brave right now and the players need to back him ...

Eh, I mean, this has the feel of a must-win game. Our schedule the next two months is brutal, we have

- 7 of the next 12 vs. top-6+Man U;

- two vs. Palace who absolutely had our number tactically last season;

-  one @Wolves that you know they are going to be up for AF;

- only two clearly winnable games, both at home vs. Cardiff and Southampton that Fulham.

I mean, Fulham has won twice this season, and we've blown terrific chances, as you say. But Fulham has had plenty of opportunitiesn themselves, and they arte looking dangerous early in this second half. If nothing else, this highlights our glaring need of a striker to replace Iheanacho. He isn't the guy, obviously. We should dump him before he loses all value.

It depends what you mean by must win- we're nowhere near relegation and Europe is unlikely.

We're the definition of midtable mediocrity and we're not used to it as a fanbase.

Agree on the attacking options though- we're very light up front and on the wing.

You know he doesn't personally sell or buy players? If you asked him and he was honest he'd sell Iheanacho, Okazaki, Slimani, Silva, Simpson, King, Benny, Iborra and probably a few more and buy someone else. That's impossible though.
